Best bank I’ve ever had the privilege to work with. From checking to savings to loans! They have never disappointed me. The staff is always very friendly and helpful.

Great experience!!!! 5☆☆☆☆☆ I went to the loan department about getting some help. Me and my family had no heat or ac in our house for almost a week. Loan Officer Jeannie McCoy was great to work with and showed us there still is a reliable Credit Union in Salem Va. Thanks Tim Farmer

Keep on top of your account or you will pay thousands in fees. Turn OD off. You get zero warnings when you have went over, until a letter comes weeks later. Not to mention, not getting alerted to unusual activity and getting charged over 500 in OD fees because of it. Screw this CR unless it's your only choice. Update: turn off of protection and STILL get charged 35 bucks each return. Might as well left it on. It's okay tho. Switched to a bank that at least has a real app with notifications, to ALERT me when crazy stuff is going down with my acct. I will no longer be sucked dry from you vultures.

I see 'Zena' left a review about the same person I spoke to, Iris. The response to her review was that attitude is not inline with SVCU, obviously it is. Iris answered call with name and I said 'Good Morning Iris this is Chris Y-----, how are you today. Her response - a flat 'fine, what do you need'. When I did not have my accn she huffed at me. I had money transferred - when I told her how much she said 'ok', I said 'thank you' she just hung up. What the H is her problem and why is she allowed to touch a phone - or work for SVCU? Seriously

Wish I could mark 0 stars. Worst customer service I've experienced with a Credit Union. Rude and was not polite at all. Representative named Iris ended the call without saying anything. Unbelievable!
