Had a loan with this company. The vehicle got totaled, both had insurance and we had gap insurance. Called bank they told us not to worry since we had gap. Took a little over a month and half and insurance and gap paid off the vehicle. We got called saying we owed interest for a month in-between them getting paid out. I called gap to see why we owed money. They informed they paid off the full balance that insurance left. As I was figuring everything out heartland hit our credit score with missing car payments for 2 months sending our credit score from 730 to 520. We paid the interest so they wouldn't hit the credit again and now have to go for legal help and submit claims threw cupboard. I wouldn't recommend getting loans threw these people as they were rude, uncaring, and harassing..

They give you the biggest runaround to set up direct deposit and providing proof of insurance. Highly recommend going somewhere else. I am trying to pay them and they have wasted three hours of my day. They were polite, but their systems and processes are way out of wack.

Fast, Easy, and Friendly! They Got Our Family Rolling! I just wanted to write a quick review for the awesome folks over at the Heartland Credit Union on White Oaks Drive here in Springfield. They really helped me and my family out in a big way. We needed to get a nice, reliable Chrysler minivan, and they made it happen for us. The whole process for the loan was so fast and easy, I was honestly surprised. The customer service was great, and they made everything simple to understand. We were able to achieve our goal and drive off in our new van feeling confident and happy. A huge thank you to Heartland Credit Union!

Stop by to get a payoff on my loan. Talk to 3 different tellers to make sure of the amount. Went to a different Bank and got a cashier check for that amount. In about 90minute I went back to payoff my loan and was informed the payoff was $459 more than they told me. There is nothing that aggregates me more than to be lie to. I would not recommend this Bank to anyone.

Incompetent and rude people work here. From the personal bankers who are supposed to open your accounts (messed all that up 1 year ago which took 3 additional visits and several phone calls to rectify) to simple cash deposits in the drive through (she didnt listen to me, applied the amount to my car loan, no apology, super rude about the mistake). I am so exhausted dealing with them so I took my direct deposit back to my previous bank but unfortunately still have an auto loan through heartland. I have had nothing but bad experiences at this branch for the last 13-14 months. The one on Sangamon is just as bad. I have less experience with the one off of south 6th street but at this point, I don't care. Back to BoS! I've been with them for almost 2 decades and won't ever switch again.
