We have a "mutual customer" who sadly experienced a house fire for which IFCU is the mortgage holder. In working with the Mortgage Processing group and specifically, Morgan G., to obtain funding to rebuild our customer's home, I found the experience to be professional and actually quite refreshing. Morgan was eager to help her dislocated clients and when she face a couple of internal changes, she used her creativity and experience to obtain solutions. IFCU went above and beyond and surpassed my expectations and although I live in Fishers, I'll probably be coming to Anderson for my next mortgage!

EXTREMELY RUDE and unprofessional employees! Waiting to open (another) business account, I asked the teller about also talking to a loan officer about portfolio lending. I had to wait (no appointment), so I did. However, after already talking to this employee and waiting, I (again) asked the same employee if I could just ask a few quick questions to any loan officer about the commercial products they offer. Eventually, a loan officer comes out and immediately approaches a different customer, whom is now interacting with the same teller. No problem. The teller does state this is the wrong customer by stating... "No, it's actually 'THE GUY WITH THE PONEYTAIL... NOT 'him' (referring to the gentleman in front of her.) UMM... "The guy with the ponytail???????" EXCUSE ME????? What ever happened to "The gentleman seated over there?????" BUT THAT'S NOT ALL!!!!! Instead of the loan officer excusing herself from that customer (BECAUSE THEY ENTERED THE BANK AFTER ME), the loan officer completely IGNORED me!!! And continued her conversation with the WRONG customer. And I was VERY BUSY and had no time to waste... SO... I LEFT!! Just to let you know... "The guy with the ponytail" is a REAL ESTATE INVESTOR!!!! And I plan on buying 10 more properties within the next 2-3 years! Do you have any idea that your "credit union" just lost hundreds of thousands of dollars in interest over the next decade because...??? Your "financial institution " cannot deliver the MOST BASIC level of customer service!! This was 1-2 weeks ago. It's Sunday night, and I was just reminiscing about the multiple people and businesses that I encounter every single day that are so poorly managed that it costs them VASTS amounts of money. So, in my 30 minutes of boredom on a Sunday night, I just want to warn any local businesses that are thinking about investing their hard earned money with this "institution " to seriously rethink this idea. There are SOÒOO many institutions that want your business, just not this one . Good luck! 🙏
