Going to be leaving this financial institution, opened an account with them under the pretenses that being a credit union that operate in the same fashion as a credit union does in order to meet certain requirements. However they have without my knowledge been changing service fees to my account and have driven the account into the negative by doing so since i do not regularly deposit funds into the account with them. They also attempted to have my sign off on a an auto loan of $22,000 with a repayment price of $50,000. Claiming that my credit which is just above 600, is at the bottom of the 500 range. I could go to criminally outrageous banks such as key bank and be both treated better and charged significantly fairer pricing on everything. Stay away from madision County credit union if you care about you financial health.

Absolutely love this Credit Union. The staff always knows me by name. I love banking with a institution that looks at me as more than just a number. Staff is always assertive, friendly an genuine in their care about their clients.

Absolutely terrible. Was a nightmare experience for my family member dealing with them for a mortgage loan. They ended up costing her thousands of dollars in tax penalties because of false information that was provided. Closing was delayed with less than a week’s notice. Poor/nonexistent communication, very disorganized, and they do not seem to care about their customers whatsoever. Do yourself a favor and take your business and money elsewhere.

It is very rare that I would fill out a review for any company organization or group. I will however be happy to say this Credit Union has treated me and my family very well. We have been with MADCO since 2006. They have been very helpful in banking and lending for us. We even went through some hard times in 2010 and they worked with us. MADCO tries to help its members to stay on top and get ahead of things. Yes I sound like a commercial but I know the other banks I had been with in the past would never have went out of their way to help. The "Big Corporate Banks" would have just closed accounts, or collected loaned on items and never cared. Thank you Madison County FCU. M. Shawn Campbell

People are really nice at this bank, but doesn't have very good resources. Trying to do certain things at this bank can be limited!! It's my money after all I should be able to do with it how I please....
