I had the pleasure of working with Honey Combs for my last mortgage loan. Not only does she have the cutest name ever!! She is an absolute delight to work with. Kind, courteous, and extremely knowledgeable. She always responds quickly, answering all my questions with clear and concise responses. She has even anticipated questions I didn't think of asking. Such outstanding customer service is rare and I cant say enough how much I appreciate it.

I recently worked with Noah Browning at Hoosier Hills for a commercial loan, and I couldn't be more impressed with the entire experience. Noah's expertise in commercial financing was evident—he anticipated potential hurdles & ensured all documentation was handled efficiently, saving me weeks of back-and-forth. What stood out most was his responsiveness and genuine commitment to my success. Emails were answered promptly, )even outside regular hours) and thanks to his guidance, the loan closed smoothly and on time, allowing me to move forward without unnecessary stress. If you're in the market for a commercial loan, I highly recommend Noah. He turned what could have been a daunting task into a seamless partnership. Five stars all the way!

I contacted the loan department there and was asked different information. My name changed in the past. The person had the nerve to ask why I changed my name. Are you kidding me? Tried to tell me it's for security....yeah right. Nice try. Funny thing I was never asked that question by other creditors, companies or agencies. Yet HHCU thought that I needed to give them an explanation. After I let her know I'm not giving an explanation, she then hung up on me. Since you don't understand the law, I will inform you about it. An applicant isn't required to tell you WHY their name changed. Submitting legal documents that verify the name change is required. Not WHY. That's a violation of my privacy rights.

This is the most insulting vehicle loan experience I have ever had. If there is an issue with the payment they call you with number not from Hoosier Hills so phones mark them as spam. They then do not contact you and have your vehicle towed away at your place of employment to publicly embarrass you. Not only do they take your vehicle, they close the loan to where the only thing you can do is buy the vehicle back. DO NOT TAKE OUT A LOAN FROM HERE. They also claim they have you set on autopay and don't actually set it up they will screw you over so hard you're better going to a loan shark because they'll only break your legs while this place will destroy your ability to get another loan for 7 years. The amount of stress they are putting me through to get a vehicle I paid 95% on is enough to make me regret buying at all. The full blame doesn't rest on them as I should've made sure payment was going through but to do the sleezy practices they have been is disgusting and insulting. -EDIT: After discussion with the Credit Union, I'm raising their star rating and adding to what happened. After paying to get my vehicle back, it was discovered that they had a clerical error that was sending letters to the wrong address. They have since on their own dime towed my vehicle back to my home, and removed the repossession fees. While I'm not happy about how the situation occured I do appreciate the branch manager and Angel for assisting me in making the situation right after a different person in the collections department was not helpful in anyway. Due to them helping me and not simply stating I didn't make the payments too bad so sad I am bumping up the rating for 1 to 3 stars. If you have a loan here and ever have an issue ask for Angel shes your best bet at getting things taken care of.
