Absolutely terrible, we've tried going through them a few times and never wanting to help, or double check their work. Would recommend 1364 credit union in portage for any loan or acc needs

Haven’t had many dealings with the credit union. I had an auto loan that I paid monthly until paid off and didn’t ever have a reason to contact them. Recently we worked with Alexis on a personal loan. We expressed urgency with this loan, we’re undergoing infertility treatments and our clinic requires upfront payment. Despite this, and despite being approved, it has taken days to receive an answer to calls and emails, if not for my Drs advocating for me, it would have caused delays with my treatment. We were able to secure the full amount from Huntington within a single day. Everyone says to go through a credit union, but our local “big bank” branch was far more personable and understanding of our urgency. I wish I had just saved myself the extra hard pull on my credit in the first place. I work in a very customer-facing industry and understand the stress and demand our jobs involve, but this was just too frustrating and left us doubting the reliability of this credit union.

At this branch, I’ve always had great customer service..so no complaints there. Everyone has been so great and helpful. My complaint is having a credit union that is located near the mill, gets steelworkers to open accounts with them, only to have the least accommodating hours for steelworkers to make it in while they’re open.

I live out of state and have never had an issue communicating or receiving assistance with anyone at Allegius. When I opened my auto loan account, the process was convenient, the rate and terms were excellent. When I moved from one state to another the assistance I received from Natalie in the title department could not have been better. Thank you to the Allegius team.

This Credit Union contracted with some cop wannabe armed and wearing a tactical vest tresspassing and snooping around my property in the night. After having a conversation with him and finding out he was looking to do a repossession, I politely let him know that the person and vehicle he was looking for was not here and that person had never lived here. He then continued to try and use subtle threats and intimidation and refuse to leave the property even after being told he was tresspassing several times. He only left when I made it very clear that I was also armed and willing to use force against him if he didn't quit harassing me and trespassing on my property. I called the credit union the following day to speak with them about the situation and they didn't seem to care and just said that is normal behavior for their repossession people. In other words, this Credit Union is okay Contracting with and condoning criminal acts for repossessions. I won't be doing business with this Credit Union and recommend others to find somewhere more professional to do their banking.
