Honestly I was going to rate a 1 star. However out of courtesy since I had been a member for over 30 years I'm giving a 2 star. I had used the drive thru because my son and I both had the flu. I owed them $253 and a little change from my checking. I do agree that I owed that. Of course with their courtesy fees of $27 each time, I'm positive what I owed was less. Also I have had fraud from this account several times. So I went to deposit my 401K into my account. I knew that they would hold this check for a couple days. (Even though it's my money) I was expecting it. However I needed a cashier's check paid to order of my Apartment Complex for my son and my rent. The teller lady said oh I have to ask my supervisor. Her supervisor said No we cant do that. Though we are going to take the $253 that you owe. (Again this is my money) I really needed to pay my rent. I was without a job do to illness and needed this to pay it. Also my Mom had passed away and my husband's sister passed away. So we were having a terrible time. So I told her No I want my check back thank you. Now over last week or two I have went to other branch that I normally go to and like much better off Burkhardt, to pay this bill and make sure account is closed. It is closed and they tell me that they cant take the money that I now owe more because it was sent to collection and to call them. I cant believe the run around. This is outrageous!

I can not believe the incompetence. My mother ordered a new debit card. They got the address wrong. I was right there when she gave it to them and she told them correctly. So we had to go through the process again. AGAIN the second time they got the address wrong. She will be switching credit unions after being a member for over 20 years. Go to Heritage Federal if in Evansville.

Brand new member. Needed assistance attaching my personal checking account to my on line loan account. Called for technical help. NO AI PHONE SUPPORT TO DEAL WITH, NO ONE FROM OVERSEAS TO TRY AND UNDERSTAND. A live representative from the credit union was very polite and walked me through the on line application to get my task accomplished. Such a great experience, can't thank you enough. You have gained a member for life, even if I have to pay a higher interest rate for a loan I would do it just for their excellent customer service.

I experienced some challenges due to an accident and they showed ZERO sympathy and failed to assist when I asked for help. They are the only financial institution, out of all of the ones I bank with, that was rude and insensitive to my condition at that time. They also do not have systems that update accurately so information is faulty. They need training on how to better service customers and need to invest in better systems. Kindness is the key. They make it extremely hard to make payments online to the point where I had to call to make payments over the phone and they charge you for this! It's despicable. Because their system is terrible, your payments take forever to post which then makes them charge late fees and additional interest. Take your money elsewhere. It is not worth the headache. Also, discrimination is an issue here...

I was promised a skip a pay on my auto, filled out documents and submitted. Only to be notified by a supervisor you have to "read the fine print"in a snarky tone. Only allowed 1 every 6 months. So I was a month away from it being permitted to do so. Did not figure this out till my payment doubled and was reported delinquent on my credit. After being assured by a representative yet scolded by a supervisor that I was misinformed and it was my problem. Shame on me. Had several rude interactions with one representative named "zach" had to get calls reviewed. The final cherry on the top is despite paying off my car, unless I pay an expedited fee I have to wait 2 weeks to 2 months to maybe at the mercy of USPS to receive my title. This is not all their fault partial credit goes to nissan brokering the finance portion. Free at last, maybe. To be continued...
