I recently financed my motorcycle through Midwest America Federal Credit Union, and the entire experience was outstanding. My loan officer, Zack Hakey, went above and beyond to make the process smooth, fast, and stress-free. Zack was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to explain every detail clearly, making sure I was comfortable with each step. He was patient, professional, and genuinely committed to helping me get the best possible loan option. His communication was excellent as wellβ€”quick responses, clear updates, and a friendly attitude throughout. Thanks to Zack at Midwest America FCU, I was able to get on the road sooner than expected with a rate and payment plan that worked perfectly for me. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a motorcycle loan or any other financing needs.

I have been doing business with MWFCU since 2017. The staff has always been kind, helpful and responsive. Because of this, i am a repeapt customer to them, i live 2 states away and if i need to finance something i dont run my credit at multiple places, i pickup the phone, call MWFCU and get things handled. I want to give specific recognition to Zack Hakey (member service representative). He treats me exceptionally well, always willing to go above and beyond to take care of me, making the process extremely smooth and stress free. Keep up the great work MWFCU!

Very disappointed in their auto loan structure. I financed with MAFCU a few months ago. I currently have my loan paid several months ahead. I made a payment of $100 designated to principal only, only to find out you cannot make a principal only payment on their auto loans! What a scam and misrepresentation of their member satisfaction! I am refinancing my loan, and will never use their services again. Oh, and as I have recently moved and they sent a paper statement to my old address, they charged me $5.00 for a returned mail fee!!! Are you kidding me?!?! Be very cautious of their hidden fees and underhanded practices. πŸ‘ŽπŸ‘ŽπŸ‘Ž

They do ILLEGAL banking practices and the executives know about it don't care. I am a Power of Attorney for an eldery relative. I called Midwest in November to ask what our options were for the truck he had financed with them. Within seconds of my call I was transfer to Jim Melvin. His demeanor is so aggressive. I told him who I was and that I was calling to see what our options were for the truck. He started yelling saying we weren't going to pay and he was putting a hold on the entire account. This is ILLEGAL. A banking institution cannot hold money if the account is not in default. At the time there was an automatic monthly payment being made so it was recently paid and there was plenty of money in the account to pay it for months to come. I did not plan on not paying the truck off. He instead ILLEGALLY held the entire checking account funds for 9 days. I have a voicemail from him stating my attorney told him to do that. She did no such thing and didn't even know about it until 2 days after he put the ILLEGAL hold on the account. I filed a complain with the NCUA (case # 00263783) and they let the credit union investigate. Amy Heltzel sent me a letter with information that was falsely given by Jim Melvin. I called her to let her know she couldn't do a fair investigation with the info she had - she hung up on me. Do NOT do business with this credit union. They practice ILLEGAL banking methods and refuse to investigate fair claims from the NCUA.

I became a member of Midwest back in 1995. I had filed bankruptcy about a year and a half earlier. The credit union I was with for over15 years at the time let me down. I was in need of a vehicle. My now husband was even willing to cosign for me.He had great credit. But they would not give me a loan. So my now husband (weren't married back then) suggested I try MWA. I didn't have an account with them. But I did go talk with them. They had me open an account that day. My my husband cisigned and I was able to get a vehicle. Recently my husband was diagnosed with dementia. I encountered major problems from a family member who took over his finances after he got diagnosed. They took him to a lawyer and got a power of attorney. After the diagnosis. Everything was a mess. I don't know what I would have done without the assistance of the bank manager at the Tillman branch. I would mention her name, but I don't know if that's appropriate. She's help me in some manners that helped me personally that's saving Mr some money. With my husband in memory care I need every penny. MWA is the best decision I've ever made.
