I have been a member for 27 years. They have always taken good care of me, and I receive friendly and courteous service I can trust and depend on. If you're thinking of opening an account somewhere you should definitely stop in and talk to someone at one of the VIA locations. And though they may only have a few locations, with shared branch services you have access to deposit in or withdraw from your account nationwide with no fee.

I want to start by saying my opinion of Via Bank is based on company policies, not the people. Everyone at Via that we have ever worked with has been kind, friendly, and as helpful as possible. Unfortunately Via corporate really ties their hands. We have experienced a continuous problem where we try to make valid purchases with easily trusted companies such as amazon, cricket wireless, etc, and they are blocked as fraud. If it's not during business hours there is nothing we can do about it until the next business day. Even if we tell the fraud department the charge is valid it remains blocked with no explanation or way around it. At this point we are done and will be switching banks.

Teller was pretty rude. We just asked to withdrawal money and she started typing aggressively, went back to wherever to get money and I could hear things banging, she shoved the money in the envelope and shoved it towards us… really unsure why she had such a bad attitude towards us about OUR money.. the only day we can come is a Saturday- we have kept our accounts here even though it is majorly inconvenient living out of town.. add in a recent data breach- unsure that we will continue banking here. This is not the first time we’ve had someone be rude. To be clear: this was 38th st Via. I’ve never had an issue with Gas City Via

We have been with Via for a long time now. Mostly dealt with the W 2nd St location until after Debbie Watts retired. They have been very easy to work with. It is a credit union, not a bank. It has international limitations. If you want great friendly service and a local touch, I recommend Via highly. We have had many loan deals over the years and have other investments, business, and personal accounts. We do keep another account for travel purposes that will cover us out of country.

Really poor customer service. Staff slow to respond and lack human effort. Slow, robot like EE’s may be due to model of pure profit, no concern for their customers. Would not recommend.
Weekdays 9am–4pm typically have the shortest wait times for new member inquiries.
