I have been banking with Profinance for about 20 years and the service has been good up until recently. The office has moved to Merrillville on the other side of US 30. The tellers have been replaced with different hires. I attempted to make a deposit that required more information than usual. The tellers would only tell me bits and pieces of the requirements. I made 5 trips to this location and was turned away each time. It would have been nice to know all the information needed the first time. The condescending smugness of the tellers was not lost either. It seems that my business was not desired so I withdrew my money and drove 100 feet down the road and deposited it in another credit union. I was also able to open the new account without any problems. They allowed me to email info to their office for verification. It was no sweat off their back or mine. It's important to never do business where you are not wanted.

As a fairly new customer, my fiance and I called to get information on car loans. We both have accounts. The loan processor Carrie or terri was very rude during our interaction over the phone. We both were on the phone I called to get general information on car loans and she immediately asked do we have an account. I said yes we both do. She said can't answer any questions with you on the phone like we were asking personal information. I asked why? She hung up in my face twice! I told her I will be up there to withdraw our money out and closing our accounts. She said "We here" as insinuating something more. Later the manager said its been fraud going on and they dont answer information over the phone with 3rd parties. My thing is CARRIE could have told me that instead hanging up. We will be closing our accounts this week. Carrie, you need customer service training. You did not end the call properly and stop lying saying you said you were terminating the call cause you didn't. Furthermore, you have cost your company two accounts and a new loan with your behavior. Go home if you're not feeling well! Never talk it out with people over the phone you never know who knows who. That situation could have been handled way better.

Joseph is personable with an uplifting disposition. His easy nature allowed me to feel at ease . . . this is a marvel considering this was my first time meeting a financial advisor!! The explanations were clearly discribed with real examples for easier comprehension. He was very patient with questions and requestes for repeating information Joseph has a mindset that is positive, encouraging and always offered an optimistic outlook for success with a timeline for a best case senario. I would recommend Joseph and Pro Finance to my family friends and colleagues. Peace Therese White
