Wouldn't even leave a star but wanted to leave a comment..... If I commented everytime they screwed me around I wouldn't get anything else done, so I'll just post a couple of recent incidents. In the middle of a divorce when I reported it to them they still allowed my ex to remove my name from a vehicle loan and allowed my ex to sell the loan or allowed my son to take a new loan out on the vehicle. Every month when I go in to make a vehicle payment on said vehicle above due to my son living 4+ hours away it is a huge run around with the staff even though my son has place me on the account as an authorized user. Usual excuse by staff oh we didn't see the account note. This is just a couple recent issues. It's mentally draining and a couple of the staff have absolutely no social skills or customer service skills. When asked their name to report it they refuse to give it. I would not be doing business with this company but unfortunately my ex's name is tied up with the account right now. I highly recommend any other bank or credit union. I've been a member of the same (different) financial institution (that has changed company hands) for 42 years and have never ever endured the stress that I have with hometown in the past year.

I have had an account with Hometown from the beginning of opening. The employees go out of there way to help me anytime I need something done. They have always been nice. I see there are some comments about rudeness, this I have not seen. I wish they would smile sometimes, regardless they have always been nice to me. Thank you for being there for your clients.
