Communication is none existent with this company! Rude employees that talk over you,(Angel from lender group). While my grandparents were relocated from there home at 90 years old, due to the flooding in Asheville, N.C., I had to leave and help them for a little over a month. In this time my yearly, paid in full insurance lapsed in that time. I received a letter, and immediately got insurance on my side by side when I received the letter, and sent it to the proper email. Then from September, to yesterday 1-9-26, I received letters, threats, and nasty phone calls from employees. First it was supposedly sent by jpeg, needs to be pdf. so I tried to screenshot that I sent a pdf, but the do not accept pictures. I basically sent it over 13 times. Finally after the rude, and disrespectful employee, that had no means of helping me got me fired up. I then asked to be transfered to a supervisor. I waited 48min on hold for a supervisor. Then I sent a text on the automated text to ask for a supervisor to call me as im on hold for a hr and 16min. Finally, Jasmine (supervisor) called me, had me send it to her directly, and within 5min it was all done! I appreciate Jasmine for actually helping, and getting this figured out. What im not ok with, is getting threatened to charge me 2400 bucks for 6 months of insurance added to my loan, when it had the correct insurance the whole time. Ive never missed a payment, late, actually due to pay loan off early, because I pay extra. So to be talked over, down to, and threats of increasing my loan is unacceptable and very unprofessional, when it could have all be done and over in 5 min, not 5 months! Do better, and if someone doesn't like to actually conversation, and listen to customers, they should not be in a "customer service" position! I wish I would have read the reviews before I decided to do business with them 3 years ago, so maybe this will help someone else out when choosing their finance company! Update 1-12-26 recieved another letter stating my loan will increase to 1,564.34! Just when you thought things were looking up, nope. Right back to the same tactics!! This place is a Joke, and no one knows what they are doing!

I got a car loan from them through a dealership. Undisclosed to me, the only way for me to make my payment without incurring a $5 processing fee would be to actually go to the credit union and pay for it. Regardless, whether I pay by credit card or bank account they add a $5 fee. This is ridiculous. Not only am I not doing business with them but I would never open an account there again. I'm going to pay my loan and then I'm closing my account. Horrible place to do business with. Charging people $5 to make their payment over the phone is unheard of.

I Would Not Recommend this credit union to finance your vehicle through BAD BUSINESS, I have been with them 3 years, I ended up being behind on a few payments due to a life changing event in my life, ended up cancelling my insurance to find another insurance company to go with (I hadn’t had insurance for 3 months) they had someone come repo my car and they charged me $4,867 for not having insurance for 3 months. I paid them the money I owed them on my loan ($2,031)to get my car out of repossession and I ended up getting insurance when I called to give them my new insurance and get my car back they had told me In order to get my car back I had to pay them ($5,800) for them adding their company insurance to my loan. Mind you I had been without insurance for 3 MONTHS they had charged me $4,867 which would be a total of 3 or 4 years without insurance. I had ONLY been without for 3 MONTHS. This company is a scam if you want to save your self the headache I would highly recommend going with a different company. They make it so hard for people, oh and not to mention they claim they reached out to me to verify if my had insurance they exact dated they reached out (called me) was 8/8/25 I looked through my call log I did not receive a call from them on that day, this company doesn’t communicate with you about anything I wouldn’t dare go with community wide ever again they should change their name to SCAM WIDE because nothing is community about them.
