My mother has banked at this branch for decades, and now I understand why. The folks here have always been so welcoming to her ... treating her as family. I'm assisting her with her account after my father passed several years ago ... and they're treating me like family. Perhaps better than family. : ) Suzette particularly went above and beyond recently to help me with some paperwork I needed for an application. I appreciate the attentiveness, friendliness, and support from all the staff members here. For those reasons, I highly recommend Regional Federal Credit Union in Hammond for your banking needs.

A family member has been a member of this Credit Union for almost 40 years and recently I had to take over finances for him with a power of attorney. Since I am out of state I was predicting this would be a giant task and nearly impossible to accomplish. To my utter delight, the local branch manager worked with me over the course of several days getting everything I needed done cheerfully and with a smile. In this day and age when customer service consists of AI Bots that spit out the same stupid nonsense over and over again, having a real person who cares and is responsive is a rare occurrence. This is a small organization with only a few branches and perhaps that is best because they are able to do things the old-fashioned way - real personal customer service and care. If you're tired of being treated like a number or just another customer I highly recommend Regional Federal Credit Union.

Worst bank in the history of banks. DURING TAX SEASON?! Especially the Hammond branch. Don’t get me wrong the good tellers do show up with good service every once in a blue moon. Overall, I’m tired of not being able to access my account via mobile app, tired of my money disappearing and then reappearing (THAT’S CRAZY), scammers gaining access, username and password issues (diabolical), and these ever so convenient “server errors” that’s also prevent you from accessing YOUR MONEY, which always seem to happen on Sundays when you CAN’T GET HELP. Then the audacity to ask “why didn’t you report this?” I TRIED AND NO ONE ANSWERS. Taking my money out and running with it at this point. What do we do in an emergency and can’t access our funds? Pray about it I guess right? Member for over 12 years by the way. This place is a complete joke and I’m DONE. They need a ⚠️ and DO NOT ENTER sign out front. 😑

I worked with Jasmine at the Hammond branch. She was very very kind, helpful and extremely knowledgeable and helped me save money by recommending a Visa with Regional and a balance transfer for my Chase Sapphire Reserve credit card and Citi Strata Elite credit card. Excellent service from Jasmine!!!!

A recent standout moment was when I needed to refinance my auto loan. Connie walked me through the entire process, patiently explained every document, and helped me secure an interest rate significantly lower than what I was offered by a competitor. They truly acted as a financial partner, focused on saving me money. She definitely went above and beyond to accommodate my needs. I definitely will be coming back to secure future loans.
