My wife and I worked with Zach Stineman on the mortgage for our first home, and as first-time buyers we had no idea what to expect. Zach was awesome to work with—great communication, explained everything clearly, and pointed out things we wouldn’t have known to look out for during the process. He stayed on top of everything from start to finish and made the whole experience way less stressful than we expected. You know someone’s doing it right when even the closing attorney compliments how prompt and diligent he was. Easily a 5-star experience. Thanks again Zach!

I had a wonderful experience working with Zack Stineman during my home purchase. He made the pre-approval process quick and easy, giving me an answer the same day after my income was verified, which I really appreciated. I was honest with him about already having another pre-approval and wanting to explore my options, and I really appreciated that he was never pushy. Instead, he remained professional, informative, and supportive throughout the entire process. He kept me updated every step of the way and was always quick to respond to any questions I had. He followed up after closing to make sure everything went smoothly and to congratulate me, which meant a lot. Overall, I’m very satisfied with the level of member service I received and would definitely recommend Zack and Collins Community Credit Union to anyone interested in a home loan.

Do yourself a favor, there are plenty of way better Banking institutions in town... Collins USED to be awesome!!! but over the last 15 years or so they have been descending in service... I have had to remind them countless times that in the case of an institution like theirs, their primary product is trust and relationship, however since their CEO Stephanie, (whom they managed to get rid of), but not before she practically eroded the place... There are some good folks left, but their culture shifted gradually years ago... It translates into countless little things: the 40 minute wait times to get to a teller, their wanting to drive you to their online services, when in reality they should be a COMMUNITY financial institution, their fees that eventually start nibbling on your account without your necessary awareness nor real consent... Please, reward better places: CRBT is awesome!!, Dupaco has been good to me, and also GreenState has treated me well... you could almost pick any place (EXCEPT Wells Fargo or US Bank!!) and it would be better... I rate them at two stars for the few good folks that still remain trying, and for the hope that they will eventually find their way back...

When calling in to ask a question they ask for your SSN, address and on top of that want you to verify 2 recent transactions on your account. I have never verify recent transactions on my account before. Who has that kind of information readily available when you are just calling to ask a question? I understand they are trying to verify the account but this level of verification for a question is ridiculous and is not customer service friendly. Especially after verifying my identity multiple other ways.

Today I got a chance to set up my Collin’s CU app with the help of Nesh, an associate at that credit union. Suggestions were made that could save me money in the long run and I had a great experience working with him on this!
Weekdays 9am–4pm typically have the shortest wait times for new member inquiries.
