I called in because I was locked out of my account and apparently because I haven’t been to the family credit union my account fee,d out, which is OK but when I called to find out what was going on, because I never had a notice that my account was even in the negative and some lady got on the phone which I found out is in a call center. It was really short with me and snobby asking me questions about my account password when I was trying to explain to her that that’s what I’m calling for cause it’s been a while since I’ve been in my account apparently they never even tried to contact me about the account closing, but they still send me letters in the mail about insurance through liberty mutual so I called to talk to a manager supposedly and she sat on the phone acting like she’s trying to find the lady who talk to me, which I know she could find, but at the same time, she’s asking me questions to see if she can find the account instead of trying to find a person who I told her was treating me bad and trying to make up an excuse for her, so I politely told her well ma’am how do I do a Google review ?which everybody knows how to do a Google review. I just wanted to get off the phone with her because I already seen that she was going to protect her staff when I don’t understand. Is y’all sit up in a call center all day long so what is the point about getting upset of answering people on the phone you get paid to answer people on the phone this is a bad credit union with bad people inside it to be honest I said on the phone each time almost 14 minutes waiting for someone to pick up. I’ll never recommend this place for anyone else. And I’m a pretty fair person and also, I’m a man of God so I don’t like. Confrontation or seeing anybody getting in trouble or even putting bad reviews for that matter but as you can see on Google review, they got more bad reviews than good and it’s about the same thing that I’m talking about.

Went to try and cash a check and was met with attitude. I was told by the other bank that I needed my wife who was also on the check with her ID and there would be no problem cashing it. Explained that to the blonde teller and she hit me with attitude and said something about different tellers and different banks. Don’t they have standard? Apparently not. She then said she would put a hold on the account. I asked why the other bank didn’t mentioned that. She gave more attitude, stormed off to the back to have someone else come out and explain that they would put it on hold which would screw up my daughters account. I won’t bank here anymore I only have an account there because I helped my daughter open her first account there for her first job in high school. I’m going to have my name taken off of the account. If anyone asks me I will tell them to stray far away from this bank. The one at the bottom of the hill is good I’ve never had a problem with them and don’t get me wrong the second lady who I assume was a manager I spoke to was very kind but she needs to coach and control her employee.

I don't understand why no-one ever answers the phone!!! I have tried for days now and it just goes to VM but then no-one ever calls back. Extremely frustrating to say the least.

Rick, Nicholas and everyone there are extremely polite and knowledgeable. They are always willing to work with you and go the extra mile to make things right no matter what we are doing with our accounts. That’s why I absolutely love banking with the family credit union ♥️

I've been a member since I was still in Iowa. I left the State more then 5 years ago but still continue banking with them even though they don't have any branches in my current State. I couldn't be happier with their excellent customer services and their interest rates on loans. Keep it up TFCU.
