I am very disappointed in the new phone system that is no good for anybody that works a job and is trying to get a hold of their banker and all we get is this customer care service number that transfers you to and there’s 40 people in front of you and you only got a half an hour for a break so I’ve tried every avenue to try and get a hold of a banker. Tell her at one of the banks here in Dubuque and it’s almost impossible. I’ve even tried the chat on the website and I can’t. Nobody’s coming on that one and it is supposed to be an actual video. . horrible communication no teller video teller came on either so I’m headed to the branch to give my complaint right now

I cannot stand how slow debit card transactions are in pending, because I need an accurate balance without having to remember where I spent and how much. Still waiting for my jewel osco amount to even show upon writing this. It’s really annoying. Just include the pending transactions to come up with the true account balance. Just because it’s the weekend don’t delay transactions that I made.. that should be immediate. I’ve been with Wells Fargo before, and never had issues like this even tho yes I know all the problems they had. So within the following weeks I will be looking for a better financial institute. I was with this credit union for a little over one year. In the beginning I liked it. Just seems like it changed.

Every time I visit this credit union, I'm greeted with a smile and treated with genuine care. The staff is always helpful and willing to go the extra mile. It's such a nice change from the big banks. Their online services are a bonus, but it’s the in-person experience that really stands out.

Set up a reoccurring transfer from another bank to my Dupaco account, to make bi-monthly payments on a loan. Somehow in June the bi-monthly pmts became double bi-monthly pmts! My account draining faster than usual I didn't think much of it because more was going out than usual. Until I had to start transferring from my savings account to pad my checking account. I'm not sure how it happened, but it's not the first issue I've had. I'm horrified this can just happen without authorization. Hiring people who care and respect others money, then giving them proper and thorough training is a must at a financial institution. Seems that idea is being glossed over for bodies to fill positions. This has definitely shaken my trust in Dupaco.

Got an account some years ago. Direct deposit went in at 6pm and bills came out at 7pm. But one day, for some reason, direct deposit didn't go in. Then when 7:00 p.m. came all my bills came out overdrawing my account and causing fees for each Overdraw, with my direct deposit very conspicuously, IMMEDIATELY coming in after, covering the fees. I ended up in a negative balance for about 2 weeks and only found out then they closed my bank account. I went in and basically said, "you closed my bank account?!" The teller said, "Yes, and if you don't pay your negative balance we'll send you to collections." It just so happened then and there I was coming to move money around so I paid my negative balance and asked for my original initial deposit. The teller didn't seem to understand what I was talking about and was comically forced to explain banking to the teller and that it takes an initial deposit to open an account, and that you get that initial deposit back if you close your account. The teller refused to give me the money and told me they would mail a check. I called three times over a period of 3 months asking for an update on that check and they insisted they sent it despite not receiving it. Eventually I had to threaten them with a bank ombudsman and a lawyer before they said FINE FINE JUST COME IN. Then they cut me a check for my initial deposit, some trivial amount. I couldn't believe the whole thing to be honest. My dad had an account at this location my entire life. He thought the bank was great.
