Friendly people. I was there today to check a balance on my account. It was a bit confusing another person that was involved in the conversation we got involved made it even more confusing to understand. A way that I've been paying my account for years I was no longer available. I was told that it was incorrect giving information that made me feel but I wasn't sure what the correct way. Do believe that the girl that got involved should probably have not gotten involved because I only went to check the balance. I have no idea now until I actually talked to the branch manager who I'm sure can either explain to me if I've been doing it correctly or if I have been doing it incorrectly and then tell me exactly what I can do. It was a little frustrating today because I couldn't grasp what they were saying. In either case I left more confused then when I went in. I did not enjoy my visit

It used to be a fair and easy credit union to bank with, especially for various loans (may have changed). But trying to get loans afterwards or hit a small rough patch, they act as if you're robbing them of their personal money or wasting their time and come after you like a shark. It is almost safer for your health mentally to bank with another financial institution.

My wife went in there to get some details about a 1st time home buyer loan. Lady in the front was very rude to her. Didn’t want to answer any question. She Asked to talk to Eric, and Eric said he didn’t have time for her either. Needless to say, she went across town and we now have a 1st Time Home Loan with the other credit union in town. Very disappointing.

Exceptionally friendly staff that are interested in you as a person not just another customer. The loan process is simple and clearly explained so you don't get surprises in billing.

We enjoy the friendly staff and small town values of the 5 Star Community Credit Union. They are great to work with for business and personal accounts.
