Have yet to call and have a positive customer service experience. The support staff are unfriendly and unhelpful. On today's call I asked to be transferred to another team member (due to her continuing to interrupt me & her system being "frozen" thus unable to help me). I was told she cannot transfer, that I'd have to call back and go through all the verification questions again. Moments before that, due to a language barrier, she misunderstood the reason for my call and interrupted me to say she'd be transferring me to another department- inferring transfers are a possibility.

CA Purchased my car loan from a local bank. Otherwise I would have never dealt with them. They sent me a letter saying I owed $55. I called and spoke to the most inept agent EVER named Tara. After being on the phone for 18 minutes.I asked for a supervisor. Tara was completely useless! Then Tara tried to argue with me that I was only on hold for 11 minutes and I explained I've only been talking to you for 11 minutes.I was on hold the first time for 7 minutes! So she puts me on hold again and approximately forty eight minutes later a lady named Layna solved my problem in a few seconds and was incredibly friendly and professional. Then she calls me back and tells me that I need to sign a docusign. I did receive the docusign. And it was asking. ME for a passcode..... It was obviously entered incorrectly. I responded via email and a phone call. I still haven't received my Docusign. Avoid this place like the plague!!!!!

I'd like to start by saying I truly love CACU and boast about its perks to others. However, CACU has failed me twice regarding the referral bonus. The first time, I had to do the legwork, but they eventually credited my account. The second time, I referred my daughter, but their system glitched, and things didn't register properly. I spent a significant amount of time speaking with various reps (about 10) over the phone and online. Each time, I received excuses, but was assured the bonus would be manually applied, to no avail. Today, I called to inquire and was told the account doesn't qualify, which I'd never heard before. You can imagine my frustration. CACU, please do better. I've been with you for too long.

Nice people, good organization. Their joint accounts are especially great if you are a control freak and/or in a relationship where you don't trust the other person at all. There is no way to allow the other person on my joint account full access: every time they more than check the balance *I* get a call for an authorization code. Not them. No way to change that. I left the country for a week. That caused some biiiiig problems, when there was literally no way for them to get to their money outside of the debit card. Fun side fact: as the primary account holder you can restrict the activity on the debit card tied to the account and they can't do *anything* about it. So yea, this is a great place to open a joint account with the one you trust least, as long as you're the primary.
