Local lenders, and particularly, credit unions, are the best options for most people, so use a credit union, just not this one. I am a business professor at Wichita State and have been a customer for 5 years. I was pleased with some services, although displeased with wire transfers and international debit card use, as well as support on fraudulent charges. Despite this, I took out an equity home loan at a variable rate, and was misled on rate changes. I asked Brittany, the loan officer, if the rates would go down after the Federal Reserve lowered rates as was expected that month, and I was told that this was the case, when in fact it won't happen for 12 months. I will switch over to another bank for my direct deposits and close my account as soon as I am able to close the HELOC.

This was my first time, dealing with Wichita Federal Credit Union. The specialist I dealt with, she was extremely friendly and made me feel like I was a person instead of a number.

This is the Second Loan I have applied for in recent weeks with Wichita Federal Credit Union. My experience has been excellent. My Member Relationship Specialist went above and beyond. He kept in communication with me at all times. My job is demanding and would interrupt our conversation, but his patients was professional at all times. Thank you, Wichita federal Credit Union, for knowing who to select to get the job done for this member. Thank you, Alex Febres, for yet again a job well done. I am a happy Wichita Federal Credit Union member.
