Day 99 of listening to a metal plate bang against the concrete outside of my house on a main road. I've called supervisors where I have been told it would be fixed immediately and still nothing. Of course I am fighting a battle that I cannot win. Imagine someone hitting a sledgehammer to metal outside your house every single day. This has not been an enjoyable experience for me and my family. The city comes to move the plate back more than MSD does because it's not secure to the ground. I hate leaving negative reviews, but imagine being in my shoes and listening to the loud banging sounds 24/7. This is beyond frustrating; make it right and I will change my review.

Recently bought a home and moved to Louisville, and just received our first water bill. The MSD charges are completely ridiculous and they leave you no option but to pay it. The list of charges make little sense and make the water bill 3x higher than it should be, and nearly as much as our energy+gas bill. It is hard to believe they get away with this! I have lived all over central Kentucky and NEVER had a water bill this high! For 36 days of use...Water charges: ~$30, MSD charges: ~$80. Unbelievable! *Edited to add: Our bill has went to over $200 a month because of the sewage rate. These people obviously do not care about their consumers and how hard they are making our lives. I would say contact the Kentucky Attorney General and request investigation, but I already went that route which proved pointless. Get used to being ripped off or move. We will move as soon as we can break even on selling out home and beat believe we will look into utilities before we purchase again.

Thank you to the Crew that installed the clean out at my home 6-8 weeks ago! Excellent job! 2-3 weeks ago, a crew was back to check on the job??? This was a complete surprise! Apparently found additional roots getting in to the lines! Thank you again for the follow-up! A third visit today to check up and see about installing a sleeve? I said tomorrow was No Good! He said fine, how about Friday.. Excellent cooperation, communications and public relations. I’m very pleased with the work done by MSD👍 Eugene Baker

Chris Gregory in Engineering was amazing. I had an issue that started on a Sunday. He responded to my email by phone call not even 10 mins after I hit send. He followed up with me next day as promised. Issue was resolved by Friday. He left a detailed message, but still answered my call when I had questions. He was polite, professional, and determined to help me find a resolution. His help will save me money and time and I’m grateful. Great job MSD. Value him!!!!

The workers did an excellent job cleaning out the easement behind my neighbors and my house. It looks so much better and now the water can drain properly. They were very friendly and very careful of our property not to do any damage.
