The employees at the Perkins Road EFCU location are absolutely stellar—friendly, professional, and always willing to help. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the underwriting department. I applied for a HELOC, and after initially approving it, they requested documentation, which I promptly provided. Then, without warning, they reversed the approval, claiming my home is "unlivable." My home is not abandoned, neglected, or uninhabitable—it is simply 60% through a renovation. I own the property outright, yet they still found a reason to decline my application. It’s frustrating to see such a drastic disconnect between the branch staff’s excellence and the underwriting department’s rigid, unreasonable handling of applications.

I hate this credit union and their website. Worst I've dealt with so far. They make everything a chore. They called me giving me grief for missing a payment too, except I had made the payment electronically and they just didn't post it. Is this who you want handling your finances? I hope they sell my loan off to a real financial institution soon.

The phone system is a nightmare: The employees is worst They can’t give you can give you a balance The system tells me I need an access code there is none . It like spinning your wheels round and round. I am getting rid of this I thought they were good- nope.

I am always impressed by the level of exceptional customer service, i receive at the perkins road EFCU branch. From the moment you walk in you are greeted with a smile and welcome to EFCU. Alexis and her team of tellers work in sync to accommodate you as a customer. The branch office is clean and the environment is welcoming. I am a satisfied member .

I was originally with First Horizon Financial, however after witnessing things from the lobby that were happening on the back end I decided to move banks. Ever since I have moved banks, it has been phenomenal. Dominique and Alexis have both been extremely attentive to my financial needs. They do a very quick and accurate job any time I need assistance. I will definitely be using the Perkins Branch for years to come.
