The account I have with this bank is uses to pay my bills. They were charging me SEVERAL nsf fees for transactions I was making even though there was more than enough money in the account. They also was transferring money from my saving’s account to my checking and charging me a fee each time they transferred the money. But money was in the checking account to cover the transaction. Even after paying the bills that were due, there was still going to be a positive balance. I have NEVER let my account get negative. So, I called them, and the lady refunded me all the fees without question and apologized. She said there must have been a glitch in their system. Thank goodness I have an extra account with another bank.

Bank is ok and staff is super nice! But, I keep having problems with my credit card and security notices. It shouldn't try to lock my card up everything I swipe it. Also..you now have to pay a fee, $8, to have a checking account (or you can have a min of $100 or direct deposit) and fee will be waved. Another thing, when I go to pay my credit card bill, they informed me that it's 7$ to pay a balance, that you are already trying to pay on monthly balance for bossier federal! This is if you call to pay, or if you try to pay ur bill on their website. 7$???!! Have to have a bossier fed bank account to auto draft. If you want to not be charged $7 for paying on your own credit card bill at your own bank, then you must go inside and pay (which they only have a few locations and all are not by my house) or mail a check, or auto draft. See, this is a credit union and I use it for certain thins, but overall, I use capital one for day to day things. Also, the bossier fed website, where u sign in, will lock you out if u accidentally mess up even 1 letter. Try hours later..says "error" and to contact them. Well at almost 9 o'clock..that number obviously wont work. Finding the customer service number online is hard to find for some reason on my browser? But I found it, and the girl couldn't even bring up my account. So it's like I'm always running into trouble with this Bank. Another thing is is I can't get into even try to pay my bill online, and I've made a name and password, and of course it doesn't work. So your best bet is just to go up there to do anything that you need. Plus their website is not that great. Just letting you guys know some stuff about Bossier Federal Credit Union.

I have been with this credit union since 2014. They are not only lacking in the tech department but also in the customer relationship department. I paid my line of credit off in full and some how it still carried a $5.60 balance. So the following month I thought it was odd I still had a balance, paid it nonetheless and thought it was done. The following month I get a credit hit saying I was 30 days past due on my line of credit!!! I called and they said I still had a balance!! The response was “I’m sorry sir did you want to pay this off?”. No Ma’am, I would rather pay $5 for the next 6 years! No one reached out I wasn’t notified about becoming 30 days past due. So now what was once a 750 credit score now has a 30 day past due and reduced credit score. I called and they said they would send out a letter to the Credit bureaus requesting for a retraction and I just found out it never happened. As soon as I can I will be leaving this bank. And good riddance!!

After opening a student checking account i deposited my first check, i received my card the same day and was told it was activated and ready to go. the next morning on my way to work i was unable to gas up my car because my card was not activated. I sat at the gas station for 30 minutes on the phone waiting for them to activate my card so i could make it to work. over the course of the next week i used my card for online purchases, next week i went to deposit a check and they put my check on a 11 day hold and told me they HAD to lock my account so it was new, making all my funds already in the account unusable until my account was unlocked. they claim it was locked because they were unable to verify that i’m a real customer (or something similar) because of the age of the account even though i’ve already deposited a check and made purchases. what really confuses me is to why letting the account age would make my future actions any different. horrible bank, horrible customer service. switched to Chase shortly after and i don’t regret it at all.
