Madison “Maddie” was phenomenal to work with while setting up my business account. I’ve been banking with Southwest Louisiana Credit Union for over 10 years with my personal account, and they’ve helped me immensely throughout the years—this experience only reinforced why I’ve stayed so loyal. Maddie was professional, thorough, and genuinely attentive. If she didn’t know an answer right away, she made sure to ask and get the correct information instead of simply leaving it at “I don’t know,” which I truly appreciated. She made the entire process smooth and I left confident that my business would be taken care of properly. I highly recommend working with Maddie and Southwest Louisiana Credit Union for both personal and business banking needs.

By far, it is the best bank I've ever dealt with. A big shout out to our banker, Mrs. Heather Latour! She truly goes above and beyond to help her clients (more than once). She also gives great advice and is such a blessing to us. Thank you so very much for making our life a little easier.

I been a member for years and today my fiancé who is a member as well went to deposit a bigger than normal check into our account on East McNeese While there h was treated as if he was a criminal by the bank teller. It wasn’t what she said it was the tone in which it was said. When I spoke with the bank manager she explained to me that the company who wrote the check was dealing with a lot of fraudulent and scammers. I explained to her that’s not a good reason to treat other customers the way he was treated. I am very disappointed in that branch. Everybody is not criminal and scammers. Some of us are actually honest people. The good should not have to suffer for the bad. Get it together!

I'm really disappointed in this branch. It used to be very good. The people were friendly, and knowledgeable. I asked a question, and got three different answers. I knew what the answer was already. I had asked anyway. The answer I got was a no, a you have to come in to do it, and yes. (The yes was the answer I already knew...for certain.) The teller was not a very cheery person. Quite snooty in my opinion. This branch is a shadow of its former self. The branch downtown is way nicer, and much friendlier staff. This particular trip was the most difficult, and inconvenient I've ever had. I doubt I will be using this branch except for the ATM. Just save your time, and effort. Go to a more pleasant branch where you are treated kindly, and that makes you feel valued. This trip honestly made me consider closing my account.

Worst bank to do business with. Be mindful and especially careful when dealing with loans. They use under handed tactics to get you to sign bad deals. At the time I had a great credit score so I got swindled in after talking to a loan officer(who no longer works there). Nothing she discussed with me after months of problems back and forth was true then told me I should be more careful of what I sign. That I didn’t have to sign the agreement. I have now been repairing my credit scores since dealing with them. At the time I was 21. Be smart they are not there for your benefit.
