I’ve been wiring my husband’s paycheck every two weeks through this credit union for nearly 20 years, dating back to when it operated as NAS JRB. After all this time, the process remains inconsistent, outdated, and shockingly inefficient. Wire transfers are never done in a timely manner. Never. I can call when fhey first open, but the wire is rarely completed before 2 or 3 in the afternoon. Every once in awhile, it's not completed until the following day. Verification procedures are erratic at best. Some days I’m called, other days I'm not. I’m alsp told I was called when no such attempt was made. This inconsistency is unacceptable for any financial institution, let alone one handling direct income deposits. The latest policy requiring 4–5 people to approve a single wire transfer adds yet another unnecessary bottleneck. When those individuals aren’t available, I’m simply left waiting, without explanation or solution. When I call to follow up, I'm met with disdain as if it's unreasonable for me to ask where my money is. Frequently, the account it's being transferred to gets overdrawn because I have autopays scheduled. After two decades of loyalty, I find myself continually disappointed. There must be a better, more transparent, and accountable way to handle something as basic as transferring money. They don't even have Zelle.

As a command E-8 I was treated very well and knew my way around the base and knew a good number of the Navy folks too. It was like old home week.
