I can’t begin to explain how LOUSY this credit union is. It is always something! It takes over a MONTH to get ONE problem “solved” and please believe they will find away to fudge that up too! They talk to you so condescendingly on the phone but when you go to the branch on campus everyone is sitting on their thumbs. If I could give them negative stars I would. The only saving grace they have is the young lady with orange braids 10/10 sweet heart! The rest of them need to find a new profession.

I haven’t lived in New Orleans since 2011 but I love, love UNOFCU. They have great credit card and car loan rates and are always personable and happy to help.

Angela Capella is Vice President at this location, Let me tell you that, I have never talked to someone as rude and disrespectful as her in my life, I am surprised and even shocked that she is executive Vice President at this location in such a big bank like Federal credit union. I hope my voice can get above her so they can find out whats going on. We had an issue with her and one of her member about paying for the car her member purchased from us in Dallas Texas they had a draft from UNO federal credit union indicates that they will pay for the car their member got the loan accepted by them, and we even spoke to Jose Hosgson the loan officer the day of purchase to verify the funds and payment. she refused to send us the check after a week of purchase when I called the location they said they can't pay, their member wants to return the car because their son had an accident he broke the engine! they don't make monthly payment to us so we can't pay you! unbelievable story! any how I stopped cantacting her and I said don’t worry I won’t bother you any more but attorney and court will be!

Wonderful, attentive staff that knows everyone by name. I always feel at ease knowing my money is in good hands. The best thing now is that anyone in New Orleans can have an account there, so I’ve referred all of my friends!

Closed on Friday July 5, even though it wasn’t a bank holiday? They already have very limited hours. I try calling Monday July 8 to see if they will be open before I make the 20 minute drive over, no answer. I deposit my check into my account through the service window and the lady working didn’t say a word to me even though I said hello and thank you. I’m still upset that they messed up my file years ago with a lady with a completely different name than me and that incorrect name is still showing up on my file with all 3 crediting agencies.
