10 years! For 10 years I have banked with OVFCU, even with close family members working at other banks and FCUs. . I stayed faithful to OVFCU. Never late on payments and never negative. I have 3 vehicles, a credit card, a checking account, and a savings account. They have been great. I have went as far as taking employees thank you cards, due to their exceptional service. Now, the reason for the 1 star! After all the time I have been with OVFCU, I missed a single credit card payment. I literally forgot. . I work out of state, married, 2 young children. Life gets busy. . I had Plenty of money in checking and savings. . However, Since I missed the one payment (minimum of like $23), they reported it as behind/missed to the credit bureau! My score dropped 98 points in ONE DAY across all 3! I get it, I made a boo boo. . The part that really bothers me, I got no call, no notice, no email, no text, no letter, no warning, no heads up, NOTHING! I get 3-6 emails and letters a month from OVFCU about promotions, potential for new loans, statements, etc, but nothing saying I was late. I didnt dodge any calls , or purposely miss the payment. I honestly just forgot. . When I called to attempt to reach a resolution, I was told "You should have checked your statement" " Nothing we can do, file a dispute with the bureaus." I understand I made a mistake. However after 10 years of never missing a payment, or being late, or going negative, across MULTIPLE loans and a credit card, I couldnt be notified of 1 accident. I worked very very very hard on my credit score, and in 1 day, it dropped 98 points due to this!

Better hope you don't have problems with your card or online banking during the night! They do not have a 24/7 customer service that can help!!! This is one of the worst banks in town!!

I love this credit union. I have never experienced anything like it. This place is on another level. Everyone there is top notch and so nice. I am honestly so thankful to be a member of this establishment. Sincerely, Stacey

Constantly having my card frozen due to "exceeding limit", even when I've not spent a dime that day. Constantly stuck without ability to make purchases, which becomes disastrous at times when dealing with business matters. Bank won't help, they make me come up to the branch to get it fixed. This is impossible when I'm out of town. Business owners beware. Don't park your money here.
