You can’t use your debit card at a Walmart outside of Maine , you can’t purchase a lot of items online, they block cash app. Then they cancel your debit card that doesn’t have a chip, but they mail you the debit card and you access it . They turn off and then they won’t let you use till the chip card comes in. Everything supposed to be done online . Why would you mail a card that a customer can’t use , so you leave them no way to access money.

The service here is really bad. They basically accused us of fraud, because we deposited our home down payment. We opened an account to buy a condo. We told them this when opening the account. Then they told us they don't do condo loans. Then my wife tried to deposit a CASHIER'S check and they wanted to put a 10 DAY HOLD ON IT! Needless to say, we closed the account and opened one at Androscoggin bank, where the funds for our down payment and home closing costs were available THE NEXT DAY! F*** Great Falls Credit Union!

After reading the last review I had to post one of my own. The people are great, service is quick, and if you are a member they will even do a business account for you. They have financed homes, vehicles and recreation vehicles for me and ALWAYS worked very hard to close with speed. VERY HELPFUL. as for my card I whole heartedly disagree with the prior review. The low ceiling is for your own protection. With a simple phone call you can raise the limit in minutes to what ever you need. I do it all the time. Takes no time to pick up the phone and call them. When I do, I get a person not an automated system. (another reason I do business there) In this world of identity theft you should be happy that someone like G.F.C.U. is watching out for you. However, if you are not happy, I would glad for you to bank elsewhere - The lines will move even quicker for me :-)

Nothing I liked about. Most unorganized business, rude service.
