What can't I say about this place- its terrible. Every single time I've had to contact or step foot in this office; its nothing but headache. The staff isn't knowledgeable about the processes. One person improperly set up my account that couldn't pull the loan, another allowed it. Manager didn't add the auto pay bonus APR (.08%) after waiting a near gruesome hour for this fix, it was only half fixed. When my payment finally was 'fixed' It wasn't going to pull for the month of October and I still had to figure out how to pay. This last month I now got a 'convenience charge' of $5 that was going to HURT MY CREDIT since I 'didnt update my address in time'. Even though my new address has been on file for 3 months. Its my first car loan ever and I would recommmend against this place unless you REALLY like doing your own backdoor admin/exchanging emails for hours on end with people that would have otherwise set up your loan and never thought of you again. Totally unprofessional and makes me question if people only know the CFCU since its one of a few places around in the county. 3 out of the 4 months I've had this loan I've had problems. I'm just about ready to refinance with another bank thats not going to give me problems every. single. month. :)

You will never regret doing business at CFCU. They are always looking out for your best interests and are really on the ball if they see something suspicious going on with your account. You are always contacted immediately if they have any qualms about something going on with your account. And if you call and leave a voicemail they always get right back to you. They are the best!!!!

Don’t expect to use your card if you travel to Mexico. Or if you want to book an AirBnB, even in the US. This credit unions takes it upon themselves to decide where you can and can’t spend your $$. Can’t wait to close my account when I get back home.

CFCU is a great bank! I've used them as my savings account for years now. They also have car loans available at affordable rates. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Slow service, incompetent management, just a handful of good workers. When a friend of mine lost money to online thieves they made his recovery process as excruciating as possible. Sad the bank is an antithesis to the county, just go to Katahdin. Too bad there's no 0 star option. A shame truly.
