Some of the nicest people ever. They will do whatever it takes to protect you from scammers. They make every process easy and are very personable. We need more credit unions/banks like this!

I just discovered I've been charged $4.95/month for the past 7 years for a bill pay service on my business checking account - a service I have never once used. That's over $400 in fees. When I contacted the bank to request a refund, I was told I must have signed up for it and they refused to refund any portion of the charges. No investigation into whether I ever accessed the service, no review of usage history, just an immediate denial. As a business owner who has banked here for years, I'm disappointed by both the lack of transparency about what I was being charged for and the unwillingness to work with a long-term customer on what appears to be an unused service that was likely added during account setup. I'd recommend other business owners carefully review their monthly statements and question any recurring charges. This experience has me reconsidering my banking relationship.

Sabattus fcu has been the very first bank I ever worked with. Almost 10 years with them. Beginning of this year I got a car loan and was told I can make my payments through the app. Perfect, that’s what I do, I’ve never been late or missed a payment. A few months ago I started getting a charge for $4.95 for “Sabattusfcu Bill Pay Co Fee”. No clue what that means because I make the payments myself. When I go into the office I’m told I may have signed up for Bill Pay and never used it. I’ve never signed up for it. We couldn’t find any options within my online account. At that point I’m told it might be “a fluke in the system” and that I’m getting charged for NOT using this service. They only agree to refund one of the $4.95 charges, there’s five of them. I call back the next day to speak with a supervisor because I’m still so shocked that they would charge me almost $25 for not using this service that I never signed up for. I didn’t want to write a review so I attempted to give it one more shot before doing so. Over the phone I was told that I signed up for this program, which I never had. I left the office the day I got my loan being told I make my payments through the app, that’s what I’ve done. They only agree to refund two more charge, so three in total of the five $4.95 charges they’ve charged me. I’m out a little less then $10 now. I’ve never had any issues with sfcu for the almost half my life I’ve used them. I’m saddened that they would charge a long time, good client for not using one of their services. Let alone $4.95 a month, that’s crazy. I’ve appreciated their cooperation and willingness to adjust some of the fees, but I still feel this is wrong. Watch out if you ever get a loan through them, you may get automatically signed up for Bill Pay without being told it’s an additional $4.95 a month just to make your payment yourself. Thanks.
