Good Morning, Happy Holiday, I have been a member of your bank for over 25 years, I am a senior and I want to not believe that your bank has taken money out of my account without my permission. I have online banking so I can keep track of my money but somehow it's kind of hard for me to get into it forcing me to change my password I do always write it down so i won't forget it but every time I use it to check it. I have been told its the wrong password and I suffer from Parkinsonism and I shake and most of the time I got to walk because I have some issue with people of Baltimore City, and buses, cabs and as well as mobility services because of my complaining to the mayor of our city. Let me tell you why I contacted you, You see I keep a record of my money since I can't get online banking. In my account I am supposed to have $505.35 in my savings and want to believe I have $200 and some change in my checking, so I decided to go to the bank to see if the bank was on the same page, I did took money out on October the 23rd ($210) the amount, the amount that I had their to start with was $410.00. so I did not touch it again until after I left the hospital leaving the amount in my account in my checking after receiving my SSI amount of $967 so the amount for November before taking out xfinity, and my phone bill was $1,011.26, I was released from the hospital on November 12, so after the bills came out on the 10th of the month the balance was about $838.98 about not sure but close, on November 15th, the bank was closed i took out $200 from the ATM from checking but the teller told me I took it out within the bank, I did October but not in November on the 19, leaving the balance for November after shopping at the market a balance of $408 just a estimate, and I took money out on 15 of November $200 leaving that balance about $200 for the end of November. She said I took $210 out of my savings account not my checking and leaving the savings of $295.35 but my checking should have the balance of $408 for the end of this month, so what they showing in my account savings $295.46 and $343.44 in checking I know I am about right. I live in public housing trying to survive, I believe they are doing this to our senior and we do sometimes get it wrong our memories may not be as strong we expect our money to be safe with true and honest people on keeping things moving safely. Whoever is doing this needs to be fired. I WANT MY MONEY. Have Nice Day, Be Safe and Please Take Care.

I've been a member well over 15 years. In the beginning it was great and very helpful when needed, however as of lately, it's been absolutely not helpful. With all that has happened during the pandemic and after, resources should be accessible and helpful but it's not. There are too many more requirements needed with little to nothing to offer anymore such as personal loans and even lines of credit given the option to have payments deducted from payroll. That includes having a history of loans and successful repayments. Banking overall has been challenging with customer service. Sad to want to leave such a great credit union at one point but in today's world, it has to be done due to no beneficial status.

We have a auto loan that we have been paying on for three years. We live out of state which make it hard to pay at a branch. Last month my payment was deposited back into my account. My bank said it was canceled because of the address. I called MECU and ask if they address had been changed. It had not.not been change. I have been paying extra each month and for some reason i have paid ahead until the middle of Nov. But with them rejected the payment I will be late. I'm calling the BBB and the Seniors Citzen help line.

This is by far the WORST financial institution I’ve ever dealt with!!! First, I was charged twice for a loan payment that I had already made, and even after paying ahead, they still marked me as past due. This false reporting caused my credit score to drop significantly. To make matters worse, the credit union never had my vehicle title properly on file, and after nearly two years, they suddenly started harassing me to chase down the dealership myself instead of handling their own responsibilities (ensuring all paperwork from dealership was complete). The customer service experience is appalling. Reaching anyone by phone takes forever, and when you finally do, the service is incompetent at best and rude at worst. This morning I spoke to five different representatives, totaling 3.5 hours, including a COLLECTIONS rep named GEORGE, who was extremely unprofessional. He interrupted me constantly, dismissed my proof of payment, and insisted I was “still owing” despite the fact my payments were up to date. Thankfully, after 3 hrs and speaking to 5 different reps, Meagan in Loan Services finally reviewed the account and confirmed that I was right all along, correcting the error. Still, the damage is done. Between the inflated interest rates, broken communication, repeated billing errors, and outright negligence, I cannot recommend this credit union to anyone. Their mishandling of my account has been beyond stressful and borders on fraudulent. I will be refinancing elsewhere! Avoid this credit union at all costs
