Great team and amazing customer service! I recently had an issue with my debit card, to no fault of theirs, and the staff were extremely responsive and helped right away, even calling to follow up and ensure everything was still working well. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a friendly, reliable credit union!

My bank AFFCU has recently converted over to Freedom Financial. Each location is about an hour away and I have spent 3 days trying to contact someone on the phone. On each call I have been on hold for 30 minutes to now, an hour, and have not reached anyone. AFFCU has never conducted business this way. I am hopeful that things turn around quickly.

I've been banking with Freedom for over 12 years with no issues till recently. I have 3 checking accounts and 4 saving accounts. I had a mortgage and a business vehicle loan. I tried to pay off my mortgage last month with my online banking. I payed the balance shown... Then I received a late payment letter on October 21st stating I owed another month's full payment as well as a $75 late fee. I went to the bank to ask why and was told there was accrued interest. I was fine with the accrued interest, but why doesn't the online banking show the ACTUAL balance? I asked for a refund of the $75 late fee because it was an honest mistake, as I thought I had payed off my mortgage, and the teller acted like she didn't hear me... I asked two times to speak to a manager about the $75 late fee and the teller again ignored my request. I finished my transaction with her on paying off my mortgage in full. Because I was angry about my experience with this particular teller, I went ahead and payed off my @ $14,000 balance with 7% interest on my business vehicle so the bank wouldn't get any more of my unappreciated business. End of rant...

I had the pleasure of making a call to the Freedom Federal Credit Union Call Center this morning and was immediately connected with a service agent. I had several requests and Quanisha was extremely efficient handing every one of my requests. She also made suggestions going forward and was extremely pleasant with the interaction. Quanisha is a gem!

My team and I cannot thank Leslie Stein or Freedom Federal Credit Union enough, for the banking acrobatics they pulled off for us today. An amazing opportunity arose, and they did in a few days what should have taken a few weeks. I have never experienced a banking team that was more geared towards business owners and entrepreneurs, and more sensitive to opportunities and timelines. Thank you Leslie for making it look easy.
