Thanks for keeping energy costs at a manageable amount for seniors on fixed income. My wife and I have been able to make it through the last 4 years and we believe that things could get better in the New year. David & Giovanna

I was without electric for 12 hrs . I called power outage # on bill and never received a call back. I called customer service on monday 2/23/26 and got recording saying closed. A million dollar company can't have a person answer phone of customer for over 35 years of service . I lost $500 in food. Service is very poor with your company. I would bet if you had to answer to MPSC commission service you would be better but since you are a cooperative you need not answer to anyone.

I appreciate all the good work that the men and women of Choptank Electric are involved with in the community, however, Choptank Electric needs to improve in the responsiveness to its memebers. I called twice in the month of September with one question, I have been promised a response both times to the same question, we are in October, and I am still waiting for a response to the one question. I believe that Choptank Electric can do better.

Choptank Fiber is price gouging, had federal grant money to run the infrastructure now charges "members/customers" the highest rates in country. What happened to "co-operative" meaning fair pricing?

Worst utility company I’ve dealt with, and I’ve lived all over the country. Hold a monopoly in the area here, are absolutely trash. I’ll convert the property to solar power and limit my consumption eventually just to get off their grid.
Weekdays 9am–4pm typically have the shortest wait times for new member inquiries.
