I have had an account with BDFCU since I was a child and I absolutely love this branch! Anytime I have a question or issue, they’re so quick to help me! Also when I walk in, they all greet me by name… even when I didn’t go in too often so I was surprised they even knew who I was but it makes me feel very appreciated & welcomed. There’s too many amazing employees at this branch but Karen is the most helpful! She has gone out of her way for me many times to get me the help I’ve needed & she provides amazing customer service!! Unfortunately I can’t remember everyone’s names but they’re all so kind & helpful & friendly!

Mandy went above and beyond to help my husband today. We have lived in texas for 5 yrs now and will not let bulldog go bc of their exceptional customer support. Thank you Mandy and the rest of the Bulldog team for making life a little easier.

Worst bank I’ve ever dealt with. Jennifer Fetchen can’t handle a simple dispute and will make you do all the work. Poor customer service. Can’t receive a call back. When you call the local branch you get connected to a call center in the Middle East where you also receive no help whatsoever. I will be taking my accounts as well as my husband and his business account elsewhere. This is a poor excuse for an establishment that is supposed to protect your money. UPDATE 6/17/2025: still, by far the worst bank I’ve ever had. I even had a teller one time tell me to close my bank account and go somewhere else because that’s how horrible this bank is. That speaks volumes. I recently took a trip to Mexico. My bank account was completely drained. This is not the first, second, third or fourth time this has happened. In fact, several of my family members have also had a ridiculous amount of fraud on their accounts as well. I’m not in the banking industry, however I don’t see how my bank account can get drained multiple times and no one from fraud contacts me, but if I go to the grocery store it’ll block that transaction saying it’s fraud. You can not speak with the office you call, it connects you to some call center in another country, and you cannot understand anything they are saying. Bulldog does not care about their clients, or their money. Getting charged a $10 fee to transfer YOUR OWN MONEY from your savings to your checking is absolutely crazy. And then want to call it an overdraft fee. ATM fees are insane. Their customer service sucks. I am still waiting on a $45 dispute to be refunded to me because they said they had to wait for 30 days to pass. What?? My account was hacked, I need my money now. The app is complete trash. I am looking into other banks because I simply can’t deal with them not caring or protecting my money.

Frustrating Experience with Bulldog Federal Credit Union I recently encountered a frustrating experience with Bulldog Federal Credit Union, and I feel compelled to share my thoughts on their outdated approach to card security and customer service. While I appreciate the importance of protecting customers from potential fraud, Bulldog Federal Credit Union's handling of the situation left much to be desired. My card was blocked, and although I understand the need for such precautions, their lack of a white list system was particularly inconvenient. When I inquired about the possibility of adding my school payments to a white list to avoid repeated issues, I was surprised to learn that Bulldog Federal Credit Union doesn't have such a system in place. The customer service representative suggested a note on my account as a workaround, but couldn't assure me that it would be effective since the customer service is outsourced. This lack of a streamlined and modern approach to customer service is concerning, especially in an era where technology allows for more efficient solutions. Having to call in each month before my school runs the card seems like an archaic inconvenience. The representative's admission that there's no guarantee the note would be seen promptly due to outsourcing is disheartening. Furthermore, the absence of flexibility in adapting to holiday schedules raises additional concerns. What if the 4th of each month falls on a holiday? The lack of a contingency plan for such situations reflects a primitive business model that needs urgent reevaluation. While I understand the desire to support local banks, Bulldog Federal Credit Union's reluctance to adopt more modern and customer-friendly practices leaves much to be desired. I hope they reconsider their approach to card security and customer service to align more closely with contemporary banking standards. In the meantime, I find it challenging to recommend Bulldog Federal Credit Union to others looking for a hassle-free and up-to-date banking experience.

Bulldog Federal Credit Union's fraud department declined my card three different times for three different transactions for no reason. I contacted both bulldog and their fraud department and neither can give me a straight answer on why it happens. One more time and I'm taking my money elsewhere just be aware. Yes there was plenty of money in the account to cover the transaction.
