When a major issue arose with the unexpected closing of my credit card, she went above and beyond to protect my credit score and financial well-being. She listened patiently, explained my options clearly, and took swift action to resolve the problem before it turned into a disaster. My husband and I recently went through the process of buying a home and used SECU for our mortgage lender. I cannot say enough good things about the process. Huge thank you to Steve Karnas. SECU has made my life he'll this past year and a half. I started an account for my daughter when she was 16. Normally, she's very responsible but college made her wild and soon she amassed 1800 in overage drafts and unpaid whatever. They closed the account, which is fine, but would never answer how they allowed this but they never did. It went to collections. I paid it off (there is more to it than this do mo judgement on my daughter). I needed a new debit card, they refused stating the balance. I explained I paid it in full with the collection agency they hired, they finally issued it. I had lots of issues with accessing my account since then. Recently, I locked myself out of online banking. Called to have it reset and they refused because of the balance. I again explained I paid it in full with the collection agency they contracted. They responded they it wasn't the full amount because it was a reduced pay off. Told them it was not my problem, they contracted with them rather than reach out to me directly therefore I paid what was owed. Still refused. I know this seems small potatoes and there really is more yo this story but they have made it extremely difficult for me to continue to provide for my family. I would not recommend

I applied to increase the amount of my existing HELOC and felt less than cared for during my initial experience and I let it be known in my Google review. Cesar, the branch manager, reached out immediately and personally oversaw the process. SECU couldn't give me what I was asking for but the customer service and care is exactly what I was hoping for the first time around. Thank you, Cesar!

Good evening, Just wanted you to know that the Towson SECU is awesome, sauce.The representative that waited on me was competent, compassionate, and customer service top quality. She recieved me so comfortably, I felt as if I was the ONLY customer there. When I entered the door the woman at the desk was on it. She greeted me with a smile and quickly got me to one of the people in the booths waiting to serve. When the young lady waited on me I asked to see her boss, her manager. I told him I was given the red carpet. I told him she was AAA and Super Bowl. IN other words I felt warm, important and well taken care of .Kudos plus to the Towson SECU. thank you for the BEST of the BEST. Gloria Winters
