MJBC is the place to be for me. Great music, great preaching, and wonderful friendly folks. I am a proud member since 1991 but starting going in 1988. Come and visit and be prepared to stay. See ya soon.

I’ve been a member for over 21 yrs. I’ve attempted to leave but I had to remember every family is not without some kind of drama. Keep your mind and heart focus on the word not the preacher or what’s going on in the church, you as well will find MJBC your life long home church. My most memorable will be the love that was shown from my pastor at the time (Pastor Spearman), members (Gloria Gardner, Yvette Diggs, Jackie Hall) Dance ministry and the usher ministry during the home going service for my Dad. Sistah’s will never be forgotten! Church is in you not the church! ❤️🙌🏽❤️

My little sister was driving down university boulevard when she had an emergency and her brakes broke. As she could, she managed to park the car outside the church and two people came out threatening to call a tow truck if she didn't leave. My sister cried inconsolably and these people just kicked her out of the place. Aren't church people supposed to be good?
