I am writing to share my recent experience with your bank, which, unfortunately, has been quite disappointing. Initially, I was drawn to your bank by a representative who visited my workplace, and I signed up for both a checking and savings account. However, my experience has turned into a nightmare. As someone who values the security of my finances, I often lock my card to prevent theft. I noticed that whenever I did this at night, my checking account card would disappear from the app between 1 AM and 6 AM, leaving me without access during those hours. One unfortunate evening, while attempting to pump gas after work, my card was declined multiple times. When I contacted customer service, I was advised to speak with the fraud department, as there appeared to be an issue with my account. However, the representative there found no fraud and transferred me back to customer service, which was now closed. I asked him why are you transferring me when customer service is closed and he hung up on me. This resulted in me being unable to access my funds for the entire weekend, which was extremely frustrating. When I finally visited the bank on Monday to explain my situation, I received no apology for the inconvenience but was offered a new card instead. Given the circumstances and the lack of adequate customer service, I decided to close my account. I strongly believe that a bank should prioritize its customers' needs and be available for assistance, especially on weekends. This experience has led me to recommend against your institution. I also believe you all need to hire customer service reps that speak proper English and one's that won't hang up on people.

the ATM crashed on me and stole my card. WILL BE CLOSING MY ACCOUNT OF 35+ YEARS AFTER THIS. This "union" will charge you ridiculous fees and make you go broke WHEN YOU CAN NOT PAY YOUR BILLS. What is the point of being a member of a financial union when they bleed you dry for your last CENT? No point. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT ENROLL YOUR CHILDREN OR FAMILY HERE. They WILL take advantage of POVERTY STRICKEN MEMBERS WITH 50+ years of combined family membership. This place is an atrocity and YOU MUST THINK IM SOME KIND OF idiot for thinking this is better than a bank!!! NO THANK YOU.

Please stop sending me FFFCU / Liberty Mutual co-branded junk mail. Third time I've asked, and will close my account if not resolved

I've been with first financial for over 10 years. They are very friendly, nice, and helpful. I have home loan and auto loan here. I've never missed a payment and they allow a 15 day grace period past the due date. The only negative is the collection people start calling me with a very serious tone 3 days past the due date when I have a 15 day grace period. This would be my only negative comment about this bank, especially since I'm very reliable and never miss a payment. Otherwise, great and helpful people.
Weekdays 9am–4pm typically have the shortest wait times for new member inquiries.
