Lisa was very helpful from the loan department to answer my questions and provide a quick report. The app is quite outdated so looking forward to an improvement so I don’t have to call as frequently for these reports. Overall, you aren’t supposed to be best friends with the company you take a loan through but MCU has been manageable and easy enough to contact

Difficult/outdated app, inconsistent customer service, and little to no support for long time customers. I started with MCU and when I was a kid. Now as an adult and practicing medical professional with the usual student loans present when obtaining a doctorate, they urged me to refinance a car loan through them and gather paperwork which I did after working long hours treating sick patients. After getting them the information, they denied me because of my student loans. If they can’t support or assist long time clients like me, I find it hard to believe they would do the same for anyone else. It’s a shame writing this after growing up in millbury thinking they were going to help those in their community including myself.

Had this bank since I was 16 years old. The last couple years I have had my difficulties. 1. This bank makes you feel like your doing something wrong when you try to take more than 2k out the bank. When i explained what it was for (when I really shouldn't be doing that since it's MY money) the manager at the bank acted like I was lying to her. Super uncomfortable and so unprofessional. 2. This bank will do everything and anything to find a way to fee you. They will let your account go negative and continue to go negative even when asking them to freeze your account. This is when I noticed they just let it keep piling up. I called the bank and they did help get rid of some fees but a week later the fees where back on the account. 3. When I did talk to the bank I was supposed to get a call back from someone since they wanted to reach out to their manager to get to understand the full fees on my account and why they were there and I never got a call back. I tried to log into my account and it's blocked so basically instead of trying to resolve the problem they sent me to collections. I do not recommend banking with this company due to the fact they allow anyone and everyone just charge your account even though you freeze the account and blocked the account to be used. It's become apparent to me they don't care about loyalty to the company and simply just want to make a profit out of you. It's very disappointing on my side for someone that had this bank account for many years and they would pull this type of thing. I expect it from bigger banks to pull this but not here. Do yourself the favor and check for another bank to get an account, MCU is not worth it.

Would give zero stars if possible. No matter what issues you have, you have to talk to Drew...who never answers his phone or returns calls. Can't use my atm card anywhere but an mcu machine or it's declined for fraud. No way to fix issues after business hours. Horrible, changing banks asap.

God awful bank with horrendous customer service. No one can do anything to help you. The amount of “I don’t know” is ridiculous, how anyone there has a job is beyond me. I’ll call to raise the withdrawal limit to make a large purchase, my account is basically frozen for several days due to the limit being exceeded despite being pre-approved and no one is able to fix it until the charge disappeared. Then the “pre-approved” charge dropped off the account and the seller had to cancel the order because they didn’t receive the funds??? Absolutely unacceptable. Worst bank on the planet. I was back and forth with several representatives from different departments and had to call back multiple times to get my money. I’ll be closing my account and going to another bank.
