I have been banking with Luso American Credit Union for 30 years and I must say, the customer service has seen a decline in recent years. Initially, the customer service was great, but now it seems like they only care about convenience and have forgotten how to treat their loyal customers. When I walk into the bank, there is no greeting or guidance provided. The staff members simply look at me as if they are wondering why I am even there. It's disheartening to feel like an inconvenience when I am there to do my banking. During my last visit, I tried to get the attention of a customer service representative and was met with annoyance. He told me to stay at my seat and wait to be called, even though the entire bank was empty, with no one waiting. It's frustrating to be treated this way and it's evident that these employees do not enjoy their jobs. I believe that Luso American Credit Union should invest more time in training their customer service staff. A simple smile and greeting, as well as making people feel welcomed, can go a long way in ensuring customer satisfaction. It's disappointing to see how far they have fallen in terms of providing good customer service.

I Been part of the luso American credit union for 6 years now, is so incredible how much they helped me to built a great credit, I start with no credit at all and they helped me to open an account to built it, a credit card and after a loan for my car, now my car is payoff and my credit is really really good.. they staff is always amazing and they always make you visit unique. Thank you for the great service. UPDATE: I don’t know what’s going on with Luso Bank, but almost every month they lock my card. I was calling yesterday all morning and they never answered my call, I needed to pay my rent and now my Netflix account. I might have to switch to other bank because I can’t keep up with this!

Love this place I’ve had other banks like Bank of America horrible bank they just want you money but Luso always help me and treat me good never an issue. And as for the bad review before me about depositing cash into the atm they don’t have envelopes out because the atm shoots them out when you’re going to deposit $.. shouldn’t give something a bad review because your to dumb to use your banks atm!!

I am canceling my accounts with this bank it has gone down very bad. I went to both branches in Peabody today and neither of them except cash at the ATM without envelopes. You would think they would have business sense to have envelopes for deposit then. You make the Portuguese community look bad with your bad service

4 tellers but yet only 1 person can accept a check for a car payment so youre going to wait a while and there is no way to deposit money online to pay.
