A credit union that only lets you mobile deposit $5000 a month is a joke. They need better policies and better workers who actually like their job and want to help their customers. I will gladly be taking my business elsewhere. Thank gosh I only had a checking account open with them.

The staff are absolutely awful 90% of the time, and will go get the manager who comes out with an attitude yelling before even letting you talk. I have been making DEPOSITS at this bank sense they opened, they’re staff was taking the money and putting it into the bank account and then randomly one day decided to stop (I am doing deposits for the store I work at) now I all of the sudden can not and when I explained they had been taking deposits always and I’ve never had a problem they got angry and now EVERY time I have gone in after the ENTIRE staff is rude and obnoxious. Our store account got charged $50 because this bank refused to put the money in my hand into the account and demanded the owner do it. The owner who is in the military and not even in the United States. I recommend anyone who is looking into opening an account with this branch GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. Wolverine and hunnington are both 100x better.

We switched to Northland after doing business else where in Alpena for over 25+ years. They treat us more like family than members of a institution. We receive excellent care and great customer service on an almost daily basis. Jennifer is top shelf and we appreciate everything she has done for us!!

I trusted the people at the Glennie office. Then I moved to Alpena. The place has, little by little, gotten completely untrustworthy. Today they changed the phone app so that I can't use NLCU savings to pay NLCU VISA. The last straw; closing my account on Monday.

Jennifer, Shelby, Carrie and Daniel are the best. Extremely kind, helpful, and professional. The staff that I deal with on regular basis are 5 star and the only reason why my review is not one star. But the people I do not see, like the people in the lending department, if you write a loan for a set amount, and I sign for that amount you owe me that amount in full. Who are you to change what the loan is written for after it is written and put into my account. What is the point of all that paperwork we all have to do, if some mystery person can just change things with no explanation. A manager could not even give me an explanation. I feel that this is illegal and if I had time I would look into this. But I do not so I just have to deal with it. I am not a happy customer but I will remain one ONLY because of your other staff. Thank you trying to help me Jennifer and I apologize for getting upset.
