I’ve been at Copoco credit union since I have been 5 years old.I’ve done business as a adult here and loved the at home feeling from the member services, loan department, and the ease of doing everything. The merger with Elga credit union has been an absolute disaster from day one not a smooth transition at all and the fee list is extensive and very expensive. From an older customer this was a big let down from a business I once enjoyed doing business with. I’m on the hunt to find better banking and will close every loan and account the second I find that.

Absolutely terrible! Copoco customer for 15 years, the new ALGA is 0/10. Deactivated my debt card and credit card (due to a new merger) without any notice, call, mail, etc. When asked how I could get a card, they said it would be 7 days of I could pay “$30 to ship overnight” not even offering to pay it for their mistake. Do not use this terrible bank!! I will be closing my loan and card with them.

Have been banking here for about 50 years. Always great service. Any issues addressed efficiently. Great people to work with. Love this credit union!

Looked into opening a checking and savings account. I was told I had to be a member for x amount of weeks before I was able to open a checking account. I was also informed that I had to have at least $300 in my checking account at all times or else a fee would be charged. Woman who was in charge of opening accounts was rude and cold. I left and decided to take my money somewhere else. Not a good vibe at all!
