Customer service here sucks that customer service they need to close the bank down and hire new people that knows how to talk and a respect their customers. I've never seen a bunch of women who are so freaking rude

This is my first time working with a credit union, and it was a great experience. Saved me a ton of money on my equity loan. One Detroit is the place to go for local customers!

I would not bank with them as they do not care about their customers. I deposited a government check 8/7 and was told I couldn’t get it until 8/26 because they couldn’t verify the account. I called the company I received the check from and they said all they had to do was call and the verification process would be fast so I’d have my money. Mind you I told the manger I needed the funds for medication which means it’s an emergency right? No call back as promised. What an inconvenience not only will I be in pain until I receive my funds but I also have no money for food or gas. When in reality I have a couple thousand to my name. DO NOT BANK WITH THEM.

I have had numerous of problems with my account. I switched my car loan to this credit union from alley bank because of refi my ride. After I switched now 2 years in I have had numerous amounts of fees added to my account because they state they never received the info from progressive insurance. I keep my car insurance payment in 6 month increments so how after every 6 months there’s problems. they send the information over stating they are the lender and this credit union still adds fees on. I have been trying to get this situated now for 5 months and even after I come to the highland park location to give them the insurance information in their hand they still never took the fees off my loan. I feel like this is the worse bank I have ever been with in my 13 years of banking. I talk to representative after representative and the issue is still never solved, even after I email the paperwork and they say they have. I have spoke to people from the downtown DETROIT location as well and they say the same thing, in which they will take the fees off and never does. I can honestly say I don’t believe this credit union is for anyone. #truthhurts

I’ve been with this credit union for 12 years and I can honestly say that over the past couple of years they have gotten worse. My credit score is almost 800, I applied for an auto loan and she ask me to summit W’2s for proof of employment. I’ve never had to summit a W’2 for a car loan. I just simply went to another a credit union and got approved. I’m completely done with them.
