I love this credit union. I have been with them for 5 years. They are the most helpful and friendly! They are always quick to serve my needs. They are safe and secure. I tried another bank...since I live in Georgia and cffcu is in MI...but quickly realized..NOONE CAN BEAT CFFCU! LOVE YOU ALL!

Hate this credit union. Do not recommend. Your card will never work at their atm or at stores. Every time you try and deposit it says it cannot accept that transaction. The drive-through is listed as open till 6pm. Guess what? It's not. Do not use this credit union.

I’ve always loved banking here, lately not so much. Got a nsf fee for an overdraft called to have it reversed and deposit money in that was causing overdraft. Instead they just put the money towards the fee after telling me it was being reversed. Then call back to get it taken care of so I can put money in my account and pay on loan and credit card and I’m told I’ll receive a call back in a few. Never received a call back I’ve now called 3xs today and it just keeps ringing. All I want to do is make my payments so I’m not seeing negative remarks. Very disappointed in community first lately. And I’ve been banking here for almost 10 years.

I called over a year ago to shut down my account, the person who I was speaking to told me everything was all set and closed down, now over a year later I get a call from a collection agency saying I owe money, they never once tried to get ahold of me saying they made a mistake, so I called and talked to Reed, said I don’t feel like I should have to pay since it’s one of his employees fault and he said he could get it lowered a little bit but that’s it. This is why my family and I will never ever go through this place again. DO NOT RECOMMEND COMMUNITY FIRST AND NEVER WILL.

Keeps locking account every time I get paid. Don’t waste your time as they try to parent your spending. I understand having limits, but locking accounts is when someone gets paid is wrong.
