I had a very negative experience at Consumers Professional Credit Union in Lansing, MI. I stopped in to pay off a $29,000 loan on a customer’s account, and during the transaction I asked if I could use the restroom. I understand that most credit unions do not allow public restroom use due to safety policies, and I would have been fine with a polite explanation. However, the way the teller responded was extremely rude and unprofessional. She told me “the area isn’t safe, so we don’t have public restrooms — but if you become a member, we might think about it.

Almost a year now on 8/15/2024 I filled out a EFT - ERROR RESOLUTION REQUEST At CPCU with the so-called person who sent me this request (Raquel W.) who had been consistently lying to me to get this resolved! She pointed fingers at everyone to resolve my issue but herself! What a ignorant individual! This company took over the SECU in Saginaw that I did business with for a couple of decades. I miss SECU because they had experienced people who knew what to do and get any situation I had resolved promptly. Instead, I got people/person who are inexperienced and liars! I'm so glad I withdrew my funds and joined another credit Union (WILDFIRE) who would not consistently lie to me. My banker at Wildfire is great and assisted me through my monetary and account needs. I recommend you all remove your funds if at CPCU if you're mistreated and go to Wildfire because your funds will grow with interest and have people who know what they're doing. At CPCU I had to get another debit card that didn't work and the young lady at the Saginaw branch tried everything she could to get it to work but failed. She tried calling folks and they didn't have a clue on how to make the card work! How embarrassing! Nevertheless, I gave this JW every opportunity to rectify my account situation and got tired of her spin and lies! Good luck everyone!

I’ve been a member since 2011 when I opened a savings account for the first time and I have had absolutely NO ISSUES with them. I’ve worked with both the Eaton Rapids location and the Lansing location and have had only good experiences, they really care about you here. By far the best credit union I’ve ever been a member of. They definitely have my business for life.

Had a great experience with Marissa! Never had an account with a credit union and honestly was coming off a bad experience with Chase. She was very kind and patient with me and explained things in great detail and I am defiantly going to recommend these guys to everyone I know. Keep up the great job guys!

Great credit union! Bethany & Suzanne both assisted me this week as I opened an account & made me feel very welcome. Bethany is extremely knowledgeable in this profession, she was very helpful & thorough in answering all of my questions. Both ladies were very kind & professional as they led me through the whole process. I also got a chance to meet one of the managers who was also extremely friendly, the whole staff & atmosphere was very warm & welcoming.
