Original post. Good experience visiting that branch. Update. I drive through this area frequently and would rather stop into a shared branch location then carry too much cash. I've stopped in between 5-10 times and never had an issue. Now yes, there's usually only 1 teller available but again never had an issue. This time was different. I tried to remain patient during a delay but then when I asked for my ID back (I had waited quite a while for them to copy my ID, I mean awhile, the machine kept jamming the teller kept opening and slamming the copy drawers... Awhile). So I asked for my ID cause I could go to another shared branch location. Not sure why this time my signature was verified. She had a copy of my ID and my actual ID and said the signature on the bank form didn't match so she had to check with a manager before completing the transaction. Now if this was the standard policy the entire time, then why was I asked this time? Not my fault that the copy machine was jammed. I mean it's not even 4pm so I came in way before the branch closed. Yeah, now I see why members avoid this location. I won't stop here again.

Anytime I've called they have been very helpful for my questions. No matter how stupid my questions are. We merged from Parkway. We're both disabled and not very smart on our banking & insurance policies. Rhona who came from Parkway was so helpful & kind to us & understood our confusion. Good experiences with the other ladies too. Very kind ladies. Personalities with lots of kindness & empathy to our needs. Thank you for not making me feel stupid. Diane W

Tiara the teller is rude and incompetent every time I go in there, to a dangerous level. She almost let me walk out there with a cashiers check from someone else’s account, after I handed her a paper with everything she needed on it. She was letting me sign it and walk away, no checking ID or anything. Had I not pointed it out, someone would’ve been very upset when they saw their account. Annoyed with her incompetence and the incompetence of the whole staff, Barb came over with attitude and then accused me of being the one who was being rude in regards to needing documents regarding my deceased father’s estate. Luckily I brought my family in with me to witness how awful, unhelpful and incompetent everything with my father’s estate has been. It’s absolutely unbelievable. The place is so bad the manager that took a week to review my father’s account after receiving the death certificate quit prior to me being able to handle my father’s estate. Rhonda the loan officer was previously, rude, and unhelpful with my car loan and came to yell at me that they closed because Tiara took 10 minutes to get to me the first time I tried to drop off my request for information regarding my fathers account. The online banking system they use is garbage, and was a pain to transition when they transitioned in the past year. They have gaudy American flag debit cards without tap to pay. As soon as I get my father’s estate handled I am paying off my car loan early and closing my account. My father was the one who set me up here at this credit union 2 decades ago, and he was a stubborn and long time user of it. Even he was frustrated with them prior to his passing, and began moving things to other financial institutions. A shame he did not move everything all at once. Do yourself and your heirs a favor, if you plan on dying anytime soon, don’t get an account here. Beneficiaries mean nothing to them and everyone tells you a different story about accounts.

I had been a member of this credit union for thirty four years and today I closed my account, which I really should have done years ago. This branch is completely antiquated in procedure and technology, making it an extremely inefficient place to bank. The hours aren’t accommodating at all to the average person with a full time job. As a matter of fact, on my way out after closing my account I saw that they are once again changing their hours and now not opening until 10am on Tuesdays! Still closing at 5pm, however. Unacceptable. If you lose your debit card it takes a week or two to be mailed to your home, no exceptions or way to pick it up at the Credit Union. The new Credit Union I moved to prints them in house the same day. The absolute final straw for me was the branch being closed the day after Thanksgiving. By being closed Thursday for Thanksgiving you are observing the federal holiday. Black Friday is not a federal or secular holiday. I completely understand wanting to give your people time off that they deserve, however, that needs to be worked out in house in a more reasonable, accommodating way for your members than just simply closing for the day. Better banking days are ahead somewhere else, thank goodness!

I’ve been a member for over 30 years. The Credit Union has always provided wonderful service the employees are great also. I only wish they would get with the times so I can deposit my check with a photo like many institutions do. Anymore it’s pretty inconvenient to drive out of my way to deposit my check and there are very few service centers anymore, also there’s not one service center close enough to me to justify not going to the branch itself.
