Used to be great, been a member 30 years. Now they’re like any other bank…poor customer service and fees on everything. If you cash a check of any size be prepared to wait to get it in your account. They put a hold on a 1200 check from a reputable company even though I had many times that in my account. C’mon. For extra insult they denied me a mortgage a few years back even though I have 830 credit and a perfect payment history spanning decades because “my debt to equity ratio was too high”. lol I had the cash to pay for the house outright but wanted to borrow when rates were so low. Took my business elsewhere and had no problem getting the mortgage.

Highly recommend. Been a member for years now and have never been disappointed. Customer service in every department is phenomenal. Dow Credit Union employees truly care about their members and it shows through every interaction.

We have been members of the Dow Credit Union for over 35 years and have always experienced friendly, competent service over the years. Most recently, we fell victim to a fraud scheme (not in any way the fault of the credit union). I called late in the day and the agent immediately froze our account and let us know that we had to come in the next day. We were served by Max who was extremely helpful and courteous in getting us set up including notifying all businesses that were on autopay or making deposits into our account. What really stood out was his compassion and assurance that we were not alone in falling into one of these traps. Thank you Max and DCECU!

I have been a member a little less than a year, and I cannot name a bad time coming here. Every person that has helped me or talked to me has been super kind, helpful, and respectful. After changing to here from my other credit union, there will not be another credit union I go to!

I am a fairly new member of Dow Credit Union - so far I have found the credit union to be very easy to deal with- very responsive to any questions that I have had. Great customer service and I like the give back at the end of the year. Count me as a satisfied customer.
Weekdays 9am–4pm typically have the shortest wait times for new member inquiries.
