Called to have autopay turned off on a business account, the customer service agent reported that the auto pay had been cancelled. A few weeks later the payment still came out, this has cost me $2,500 which I now have to sue the recipient for. When this company was CFCU it was easy to get someone on the phone and often times any issues would be Resolved. Now that they are ORSA you can expect an hour wait time and them to give you a hard time once you do get someone on the phone. Pull your money out and go somewhere that helps their customers.

Beginning with my mortgage, my agent never responded to a number of questions I asked shortly after I took the loan. As soon as I signed the paper he simply ignored my questions. When I applied more money towards my principal, it was never applied. When I corrected them on this, they didn't go back to recalculate the extra interest I paid and I had to correct them on this as well. The escrow department is a mystery too: you cannot contact them, and the several times I contacted the call center I was told they would get back to me but never did. I refinanced as soon as I could to simply get away from this institution. Even then, they couldn't get the escrow done according to my new loan. Everything they did caused issues, and I had more problems in the short time I worked with Community financial than I have with every other bank I've ever worked with combined. I don't recommend using them as there are many better options out there.

Everyone member I have interacted with has been a pleasurable experience. They treat you with respect and care, like you're a friend instead of just a client. Would definitely recommend CFCU for any financial needs. Personally I use them for banking and car loan. No issues!

Buying a home through them was an acceptable experience; however, the level of professionalism afterward was disappointing. When my son signed a new mortgage with Gloria—after I personally referred him—she did not extend a simple thank you to either of us. Additionally, follow-up communication was lacking, as emails often went unanswered and the overall customer service fell short of expectations. Based on this experience, I would not refer her again.

Be careful dealing with this credit union. I’ve been a member for 10 yrs plus in the last 5 I’ve been hacked 10 times or more and every time I call to dispute I get a different outcome of how they handle these issues. One person will tell you 2-3 business days and after 4 days I call and they say 10-14 days, they should all be on same page but not one person there has a clue!!!!!!
Weekdays 9am–4pm typically have the shortest wait times for new member inquiries.
