I had the pleasure of working with Jackie in the loans department and I cannot express how grateful I am for her assistance with every aspect of my car loan and documents. She was very knowledgeable, professional and extremely patient. Jackie definitely went and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed in a very timely manner. Thank you once again for everything.

My family has been banking with this Credit Union for years. We will continue to bank with them for many more generations. This is a Credit Union that you can trust and has a staff that is very friendly and knowledgeable from top to bottom making banking a fun experience.

My furnace has failed at my house. I called Nicole Hatch at the Plymouth office within 20 minutes. I got the money I needed to replace my furnace. I’m so grateful that they’re there to help us when we need them. I will always use Michigan educational credit union for all my needs.

This bank is subpar. They are good for loans but by no means should you use this as your primary bank. I was a member for about 15 years. As time passed from when I first joined, I heard from friends and family about their poor security and high vulnerability to theft. A couple of my family members got their accounts hacked into after someone broke into one of their bank location. They stole files regarding their members financial information. What made me pull out of this bank completely was when they locked me out of my money while I was out of the country. A couple months ago I was in Toronto for a weekend trip. I alerted them of my travels a couple weeks in advance. On the second day of being in the city, both my credit and debit cards were shut off. I called and pleaded for them to turn the card back on however it was the weekend. The call center for this bank seemed like they were an outsourced call center based in Texas. Because of this, they couldn’t turn my cards back on because they had to wait for the Michigan locations to open on Monday Morning. I couldn’t believe they just cut me off from my finances with no way to help me even after I told them in advance. If you put your money here, be very cautious.
