We have been members for 20 years and plan on closing our business and personal accounts. The customer service that drew us in initially has completely evaporated since Wings has gone on a merger binge, seemingly hooking up with every credit union with a pulse. Absurd wait times on the phone and in person, no tellers, ridiculous wait times for checks to clear, when you do get someone on the phone, they aren't able to actually help. The secret sauce Wings had is completely gone.

I need to get a Savings Bond cashed. I get there and you have three customer service reps available with only one of them tied up with a customer. Instead of getting right in, I have to wait. So I'm looking at what your people are doing and one of them is either texting or checking Instagram on their phone. I wait, and wait. Finally, she sets the phone down and I get called up. That's customer service?

Lauren W. Was more than just helpful she was much more importantly patient and when I thought for sure the app wasn't working it turned out to be user error which we figured out together. She helped me set up a bank account and got the ball rolling for my parents who have also now finished setting up their bank account. It was refreshing to have a positive experience with the banking environment. You'll notice most people rate stars for nearly any banking interaction regardless of what bank it is. Keep up the good work Lauren!

As a former 30 year bank manager, I have a great understanding of the level of service that clients expect. Wings employees give quality service. I can’t say that it is “wow” service though. I would love to see the employees more personable and conversational. The atmosphere is also a bit sterile.

I have been a member of Wings for almost 25 years. I also opened a Wings account for each of my grandchildren when they were toddlers. Recently, my oldest has been discussing the aspects of first time home buying. I advised him to get pre-qualified for a mortgage through Wings. He did go in to a Wings office. He filled out required papers, followed up with required banking info. He has graduated from college with a four year degree and has a professional position. He has a good credit rating. The Wings Mortgage person never followed up at all. My grandson called the mortgage person who said they would get back to him. No one from Wings ever got back to my grandson. My question: Obviously, this is not a professional Mortgage person representing Wings, but how do I explain this to a younger generation in my family?
Weekdays 9am–4pm typically have the shortest wait times for new member inquiries.
