I contacted the Austin branch today and was informed that a new system has been implemented, and the mobile app is currently unavailable because it has not yet been approved by Google. I find it concerning that a major system update was deployed without ensuring that the mobile app would be fully functional and approved on the platform prior to rollout. Additionally, I learned that the new system no longer allows external bank-to-bank transfers. When I asked an agent online how to make a payment using an external account, I was informed that this option is no longer supported. As a result, I had to visit the branch in person to make my payment. It appears that there was a lack of consideration regarding customer-facing functionality when transitioning to the new system. Comparing the capabilities of the old and new platforms should have been a fundamental part of the implementation process. Attention to detail in these areas is critical, especially when it directly affects customers’ ability to manage their finances efficiently.

Horrible hours not open on weekends. If you have any problems with your card/account outside of business hours, you are absolutely screwed. They have no 24 hour customer service like every other bank

TERRIBLE!! AWEFUL!! NO GOOD!!! 6 years after leaving Accentra C U they are still reporting an open account to the credit agencies (Trans union, Equifax, Experion) They are reporting a zero balance but over 90 days late for over 72 months, (when I caught it). When contacted about it, they said "oops our bad, here is a letter, let us know if there is anything else we can do" When more info was needed (an account number attached to the letter of good standing) Jordan goes silent for days at a time, and still with no response. Lyndsey, although polite and helpful, is conveniently on vacation and out of office after delegating this task off to someone who is clearly incompetent of handling such a task and seemingly incapable of even responding to let me know of when it can be handled. To my knowledge, Inaccurate reporting ones Credit is a federal crime, so I would think they would move mountains to get this taken care of. Poor customer service at best, indifferent attitude and zero effs given. I am glad they don't handle my money anymore!! UPDATE: Since I posted this was promptly contacted by Lyndsey, the president of Accentra. She offered a sincere apology and not only emailed me, but called me to talk about what she could do to help. I felt like she really listened to me and gave me the exact documentation needed to satisfy the creditors. Looking back at my time with them, I mean actually banking with them my experience was always pleasant. I found the staff helpful and my wife at the time really liked the website. LOL, our banking info lasted longer than my marriage. In all seriousness, I was left pretty satisfied with the assistance provided. I was irritated the day I posted this review, I don't necessarily feel the same way I did when I originally posted it. The facts remain but my feelings have definitely changed.

Unable to authorize payment for stuff I’m trying to purchase. Fraud side tells to contact the Accentra but it’s Friday after 5pm I will be unable to get I contact with someone to authorize a payment until Monday now. I’m sure other banking institutions will be able to authorize the payment within minutes. Had enough after dealing with horrible customer service. No place to contact anyone outside business hours. Already got a new banking institution and will be getting away from this place Monday morning.

I have been a member of Accentra for 18 years. They have been amazing. I even moved out of state for a few years and kept my loan and continued paying on it. They were able to assist me in refinancing over the phone since I was so far away. I have had MULTIPLE loans with them and have never had an issue. Accentra is truly the best. I recommend to everyone looking for a place to keep your money, do it at Accentra!
