I have banked with NSFCU for many years,I have never had a bad experience with them, the people who work there are very knowledgeable, helpful and kind. All of my banking from my mortgage loans to unsecured loans and regular accounts are with them. They get a five star rating from me.

The customer service is above and beyond. NSFCU has every convenience you need to manage your money and stay on budget. My favorite thing about NSFCU is their community involvement. They are always taking part in events and so supportive.

If you are thinking of acquiring any loan with North shore federal credit union, I highly recommend you look elsewhere. Auto payments, additional payments, their online system as a whole, customer service knowledge, ect has been a total pain every step of the way. When I decided to pay off the loan I had to take it to them personally or mail them a check. I mailed them a check, they cashed it, and then 3 weeks later, after persistently calling nick and roxan I finally got my title. And this wasn’t shipping issues, they just never did it even after I called multiple times and they said they did. Nick and Roxan was not the problem, they were kind but the manager sucked so it looked poorly on them. All they could say was that something was not working. They had no recourses to help solve the problem. Again, the manager or whatever cranky lady who I had to deal with absolutely sucked. This bank will try and nickel and dime you. Horrible experience. Hopefully no one else has to deal with them. I’m thrilled I will never have to deal with north shore federal credit union ever again.

Love the feel of small town banks. You are greeted like a friend and are able to easily do any business you need. I do miss the drive up teller in person though.

I have been to about all of the NSFCU on the North Shore. Silver Bay was probably my best experience that is why this post gets 5 stars. As for all of the other locations, there is atleast 1 rude bank teller at each but never have ran into an issue in silver bay.
Weekdays 9am–4pm typically have the shortest wait times for new member inquiries.
